It should work. My usb wireless keyboard is able to do this, even not connected to the cir header enabled port through a bios change. Your motherboard will do the same as it uses the same bios as mine.

Ok I got the HP dongle and...

I can still power on my PC with the keyboard but not with my Harmony 650. I really would like to power it on with the remote but that's ok, I still don't have to get up to power the PC!

Eskro what your setting for the 650? I'm getting the lag and also sometimes like a double key press. Time to tweek the 650!

my settings, well, just use Harmony Desktop software,
and tweaks the speed settings to your liking.
even use the trouble shoot steps to get rid of the double key press u experiencing..
also, use MCE KEYBOARD as device.

Hi guys,

I have a few questions :

Is it possible to control a lenovo ideacenter q180 using harmony remotes or the Motorola NYXboard Hybrid ?
Is it necessary to add a receiver to the lenovo or something similar?
Is it possible to boot straight from the remote?

thanks

I've got a Q180 and my USB IR receiver has just arrived from ebay today. I've got an old Harmony 525 so I'll let you know how I get on over the weekend.
