So since my fortherecord addon is currently broken I've been forced to use the pvr.demo addon and lets be honest it may work but as far as skinning goes its pretty bad Smile

So basically I decided to fill it out in a way that would work on all my boxes and have come up with this and I figured other skinners with no access to a tv tuner may want to use it as well so I uploaded it

Download removed. These files are now already included in the PVR Demo addon.

You need to already have the demo addon installed for your OS (I only have a win32 one) and then extract this file and copy it over into the pvr demo addons install dir 1 file will need to be over-ridden namely PVRDemoAddonSettings.xml which holds all the information it needs. then go into settings\livetv\general and select "Reset the PVR database" to get the new info

The top channel is actually linked to a live stream of http://twit.tv/ from the internet and every other channel plays a local copy of a College humor pacman video you can of course change this however you want by editing PVRDemoAddonSettings.xml yourself.

The radio channels don't play anything

If anyone knows of any good 24/7 non geo locked streaming urls (looking at you america) that anyone can play then post them here and maybe we can come up with a fully working one with totally different channels in the long run

perhaps you could try to get those NASA channels running? NASA TV

Or this one: IM1 TV it's imusic1 tv - german music tv, but i can't check if it is geo locked...

and than there are off course news sites which you could try, like Bloomberg, or CNN (which is essentially an endlist playlist of videos)

or how about EarthCam? don't know if the main stream is accessible through xbmc...
or massive mag a 24/7 sports stream (german)
or NDTV an indian news channel (english speaking), although the quality doesn't seem to be that good

perhaps someone could find an endless streaming movie trailer site?

I'm just about to start coding PVR stuff up for my skin and this is exactly what I need for the job. I don't think you could have timed it any better.
