Been reading, reading and re-reading the wiki about pvr, but still im not understanding it completely
In short, are we able to watch live tv with xbmc instead of using telenets own digicorder (settopbox)?

Yes untill Telenet decides to use an open system for the decryption so we can use other hardware. But no they obligate us to use (read buy/rent) that stupid, slow and not economic digibox/digicoder. You see telenet clients shouting for a change everywhere where they can, on their blog, YouTube channel and social media but they just ignore it.
This might change in the future since telenet has to set their cable network open for other providers... And some say they might review there closed PVR policy.
But ATM, the only way in Belgium to get the digital channels from vtm etc is with the satellite option TV-Vlaanderen.
Hope to have you informed from the old fashioned digital TV situation here in Belgium.

I'd like to know how to get weepee tv in xbmc, to be honest i know nothing of pvr on pc.
a step by step tuto would be great for me
i have 1 xbmc on windows and 1 raspbmc (raspberry pi)
about snow, Snow is KPN, and on forums in the Netherlands i read that KPN is one of those that heavily encrypt, so i wouldn't be surprised they are here to.
i do have snow installed since yesterday, if anyone can point me out how to do it, i'll be happy to try it.

Telenet verkoopt CI+-modules vanaf 24 juni

Telenet gaat vanaf 24 juni CI+-modules aanbieden.
So are we able to use it now.. In a htpc with xbmc?

I read the ci+ will be limited to newet tv's, my panasonic is just ci, so that wouldn't work.
In Netherlands, (Ziggo) they use CI+, but would still work with alphacrypt cam (instead of the original one to put smartcard in.
Also a smartcard reader with softcam would work. But as i read it can stop working any time, and no idea if it will work Telenet.
I'll try to install a mythtv backend server, and get a weepee account to test if i can make that work.
