Bug File Stacking and Local Artwork
#1
Hi All
I'm seeing the following on my V12RC3 install and was wondering if it is a bug or just me. For movies where I have multiple files, it appears that the scraper is bypassing local files and is scraping images from the web.

For example, I have the following structure

Movies (folder)
....The Lord of the Rings (folder)
........The Fellowship of the Ring (folder)
............The Fellowship of the Ring - CD1.mkv
............The Fellowship of the Ring - CD2.mkv
............The Fellowship of the Ring - CD1.nfo
............The Fellowship of the Ring - CD1-poster.jpg
............The Fellowship of the Ring - CD1-fanart.jpg

When I add this to my library, the local poster and fanart are bypassed in favor of newly scraped images.

Try this if that works:

The Fellowship of the Ring-poster.jpg
The Fellowship of the Ring-fanart.jpg

Cheers
I will give that a try. Guess this might end up as a bug on my metadata manager software rather than on XBMC...

Thanks Martijn, that did it all right. Time to submit a bug to MediaElch

Same exact issue here.
renaming the fanart file to remove the ""CD1" worked for fanart.
Renaming the as per above, but also changed the tbn to a jpeg.

The old xbmc definitely didn't have that issue.

Talked too soon, I'm still having this issue which is 100% repeatable. Unsure, if this is the best place (post) to go into detail.
