Out of interest this branch:
https://github.com/popcornmix/xbmc/tree/new_stall

changed two days ago (but you had made a build with these patches from before then).

Do your patches match the latest two commits on that branch?

Yes. Last build including this patch.

Presumably your swapfile is still in use, try "swapoff" then remove it.

Or boot the new update, then remove your swapfile (which will no longer be in use). I'm not sure why it's necessary to remove the swapfile before booting the new kernel which has no swap support.

You right. Delete swap file after update, when kernel has no swap support.

can u remove the xbmc logo start up and my cpu is hight why that

Little update Frodo Final

- add NFS auto-update patches for USB/NFS/SMB on Rpi

Anyone currently booting from USB, NFS or SMB will need to perform a manual update of their system to get on to the kernel that includes USB/NFS/SMB auto-update support - don't try to auto-update to this new release with your current kernel! Once you have manually updated your system you should then be able to auto-update in future simply by dropping SYSTEM+KERNEL+MD5 files into your Update folder, and rebooting.

In addition, this latest build also includes a method to try and detect incorrectly initialised SD cards and prevent corruption of the ext4 SD card partition, and also corruption of boot files that can occur during auto-update - you can enable this experimental feature by adding iotimeout=5000 to cmdline.txt. Feedback welcome...
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.
Update Rbej Frodo

- Xbmc 12.0.2 Frodo (almost 100 new fixes)

Can we have some details? xbmc.log would be a good start.
When it doesn't play, does it stop (return to UI) or stall. If stalled does pause/play or seeking make it play?

I did a lot of testing last night with your latest build (without alwaysforcebuffer/freememorycachepercent) and didn't get any videos not playing.
Can you try without alwaysforcebuffer/freememorycachepercent?
My fault. New scheme is ok.

This patch:

- add Check free memory, and if plenty use full size buffers for reading files

causes sometimes not playing movies.

I have Rpi 256mb.

I updated my build and remove this patch and return new scheme patch. Now everything is ok.

Please download updated version.
