Hey guys you may have read a few of my other posts but I am new to XBMC and to programming a computer all together. I got a good grasp on hardware but could use some help. Which brings me to my questions, I am looking for someone to maybe spend a little time teaching/helping me how to do program xbmc system and set up a separate raid server. I live in Antelope, so hopefully we could get together .

It's a gray area, at least as far as rules that are spelled out on
forum rules (wiki).
Generally speaking, the Team isn't comfortable with money/business being done on the forums. Even companies are directed to use TeamXBMC e-mail contact when they want to hire devs or do sponsorships. Personally, I don't have a problem with a situation like this, but it would be wise to steer away from paid offers on the forums.

If you need someone to help you set stuff like this up in Antelope, it makes more sense to put a small ad or request in your local paper or city website asking for a tech-savvy person to assist you figuring it out. This is a large international website with many members from all over the world, and it seems you are looking more for a general techie than for a XBMC specialist.
Who knows, you might meet a new friend =)

So I installed XBMC and it's not seeing any harddrive besides the one that the os is installed on. what am I doing wrong?

What os and what hardware are you expecting? Another hard drive. I assume?

Ubuntu and 3 other hard drives. I did a Google search but none of it worked.
