WIP Stereoscopic 3D support for half/full SBS, over/under, etc
I tested by turning off subtitles for all movies and after restarting xbmc the subtitle is not displayed.

Thanks, maybe a skin problem then.

Thanks TeKo for uploading the build, I just tried it. I have a few questions though:
-Is there a way to manually switch to 3D mode, when XBMC does not recognize a movie as 3D?
-Is there a way XBMC recognizes videos encoded HalfSBS and Full SBS. Right now it even streches my full SBS videos because it thinks they are half. Maybe we could look at the resolution of the file?

Create a keyboard mapping for 3dmode like <f1>3dmode</f1>

Play the movie in normal mode by setting 'preferred 3d mode' as None. Then use the 3dmode key just created to select the appropriate mode.

I don't have a full sbs/ou clip to test. If you can upload a small clip sized around 50MB I can check for a solution.

I will do tonight, when I get home. Its basically a mkv with 3840 x1080p resolution, left picture right next to right picture in full HD. Maybe we can also check for the keyword "full", just some thoughts...

edit: here it is... http://www.file-upload.net/download-7674...t.mkv.html

Another curious thing about the file: The subtitle is only displayed on the left picture, how would XBMC handle that?

You wrote about "full" SBS, and you forgot about "full" OU (1920x2160) Smile

I neither have such a file nor have I seen something like this ever, but it it of course a possibility ;-)

Are 3D pictures supported? I mean autoswitch gui or generate interlaced output. I think pictures containing valid keywords in their names should be supported.

How far is this already developed? What still needs to be done before a merge request can come?

elupus and da-anda are the main coders for 3d features. See da-anda's latest commits https://github.com/da-anda/xbmc/commits/3d

Third repo! Which is main?

main is elupus. I only picked up the work of baijuxavior (thanks a lot, couldn't have done myself), brought it in a nicer shape (less hacky) and created a pull request on elupus's repo (see https://github.com/elupus/xbmc/pull/4 ). Hope he likes what I did Smile
