The GB-XM14-1037 with Celeron 1037U looks very interesting, providing it will not be too expensive.
main problem is still the same as with NUC - neither is fanless.

I guess the Gigabyte will see the problem with fan noise and solve it with a noiseless fan / improved airflow / efficient heatsink / etc...

Some confirmed uk prices would be nice, especially for the celeron version but I'm guessing they won't be too far away from the intel versions

Almost the same price of NUC i3 version, but Gigabyte has usb 3.0 and a newer version of i3. This is AWESOME!

wifi isnt really a good thing for more dedicated users, wifi is only needed for home users, but using a Brix as a HTPC or Storage Server [ Brix + 2x Mediasonic Probox 4 bays USB 3.0 ] the wifi will be a huge bottleneck...

I'd have no intention of using the wifi for media duties when there's a nice gigabit LAN port to use, my point is its another added bonus over the nuc.
