From Xbian:
"we've changed the default filesystem from EXT4 to BTRFS. This optimizes the write and read speed and so increases the performance".
Would this change bring benefits to rbej builds too?

Many Bugs:
I use a RPI 512MB Model, fast Sony Class 10 SD-Card and smb shares:
On startup
can't open : /sbin/init/ line 49 var/config/settings.conf
I tested Today, with overclocking and nothing overclocking:
All Files are MKV.
Every start, the Datetime is 1970 ...00:00
BIG PROBLEM: All files hangs after 5-10 seconds
The start problem when the folder has for example 2 Files, the starttime is 2-3 seconds.
When the folders has many Files starttime is very slow.
Turn off "Extract thumbnail and video information" has no effect for me.
Whers is the autoframerate option? All Videos are 60Hz!

I had the same issue when I upgraded from Linux/Ubuntu. After installing the Gotham release in Windows 7 all these problems disappeared!

Yes Sir all good Xbmc Gotham, just menu speed kind of slow. The last one from this date 2013-06-25 from post #2238 had a faster menu

I think the problem with Sandisk SD Cards ist back. When i write the Files manually to the Card (on my PC), then the Pi boots fine.
But when you initiate a reboot, the Pi won't boot anymore.
When you Update trough the Update folder, the files are written and the Pi won't boot thereafter.
I think this is the last build that i didn't had that problem with. 20130622121054
But besides that, the last builds were the fastest and most fluid builds i've ever seen.
