Anyway, that'll have to wait that I get 4.3 on my N7.

Previous builds worked great before upgrading to 4.3. I get sound but no video.
Got my N7 to 4.3 and solved the issue (static_cast is evil Wink )
There won't be anymore experimental libstagefright builds, though. It will be merged after the next alpha release, so all android nightlies from August on will have it built in.
Oh ok, thanks! So kind of sucks I have to wait until next month I guess?

Expect it in the ouya store in the next couple of weeks.

As for using it on other device, as Ned said, the specifics shouldn't prevent to do so. The apk self probably won't be readily available, though (unless Ouya decides to do so, which I doubt).
The sources will be available on Ouya's github, though, which will allow anyone to build it.

Hi Koying,

Do you have any idea if the HDMI handshake issue will be addressed by an Ouya firmware update or is this an XBMC specific issue?
Dolby Digital and DTS at this moment only work when the handshake is triggered again by switching to another HDMI-source on the receiver.
Thanks for the clarification.

Thks.

New xbmc has advanced settings hidden by default. Must be enabled first. Check if you have that.

Audio stuff is out of my league, but this seems like an Ouya issue, which should be fixed in firmware.
Ok, I have these advanced settings, thanks. But video HW acceleration doesn't work with my MK908 (but run very well with MX player with the new kernel).
Note: XBMC crash if photos are stored on my NAS...

Dears,

After months, the libstagefright code has finally been merged into the main tree.
As such, from tomorrow on, all android nightly builds will be libstagefright-enabled.

I've closed the other thread, so this one will be the sole place to come for libstagefright related issues Wink

Thanks for the support so far.
Awesome :D
Congratulations Koying!
Very nice! Keep up the good work.

Thanks Koying for the hard work! You're the hwaccel man!
