No, in xbmc master, since https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/3925
Dual audio worked with Airplay/airtunes on a Pi Chimney build from 2 days ago which, presumably, includes that PR.

Currently when you watching live tv and press live tv remote button it almost takes 3 seconds to load tv channels or epg timeline. I have reduced the resolution from 1080 to 720p, I am using 512 pi with modest overclock 800, and using usb drive Is there something in the works to speed that up because the pvr actually works very well.

Other than this the pi feels reasonable smooth and very stable i follow this thread and install the latest updates that get released.

Thank you for great work.
How many channels? I have no performance issue with Myth, but I only have 7 (local OTA) channels in my EPG.
Hi allan87

I think there is about 14 channels so that is not a huge number but what I notice is that before the TV channels or epg shows up the live tv in the background goes blank than it restarts when the epg shows up. I thought it had something to do with refresh settings like it is switching resolutions. In win 7 Xbmc there are refresh settings but I couldn't find those settings in raspberry pi.

I have tried different skins but they all exhibit the same behaviour result when there is no live TV playing in the background it is fine. I will do more investigating and see maybe there is something in the logs.
I'm trying to figure out an issue I have with the latest builds whereby XBMC reports %100 CPU, even at idle. Running the 'top' command and I see that the CPU usage is actually between %12 and %90. I see that Lirc is sometimes using up to %96 cpu, and never less that %14. Is this normal? I don't use any kind of IR. Can I disable Lirc somehow?

dual audio is not yet supported by paplayer. You could try configuring dvdplayer as the audio player.

tnx, but dvdplayer somehow, didn't work, still only HDMI. I tried OMXplayer, which outputs sound to analog, but sadly refuses to play anything at all, most of the time.

any suggestions?

Sorry, I meant use omxplayer. dvdplayer will behave like paplayer.

Try playing a music file with omxplayer and post a debug log if it fails.

Unless you are using MySQL, or have tweaked your fanart/imageres settings, there is very little reason to have an advancedsettings.xml at all. I can't tell you if you need to modify your as.xml without knowing what is in it, but if it's full of default/junk settings you probably should remove them as they can cause problems. You only need an as.xml if you have a need to modify default settings, which generally means your as.xml should only contain a handful of settings. Don't add anything to your as.xml file unless you know what it does.

Same applies to your config.txt, I don't know what you've added. Paste up both files if you're still not sure.

@MilhouseVH: I updated to your latest build, no as.xml - works fine, especially rew/ff. Great build, thanks!
Only Videotext (Teletext) is appearing in wrong aspect ratio. For this, do I have to modify 'guires' to 720 in a new as.xml?

Did you try changing the 'Scale Teletext' option on the Video-Playback settings screen? You may need to enable 'advance' or expert' level settings to see this.

It may be problem with audio files with album art. Is it possible the ones that fail to play have artwork, and the working ones don't?

huh, it seems that you are corect.

Files, that have embedded artwork, fail to play..

On my phone, 95% of the mp3 files have artwork, so..

Is there a workaround for this?

tnx

Try a recent Pi Chimney build: http://openelec.thestateofme.com/dev_builds/ . I am having a similar issue with streaming from iTunes. The Pi Chimney builds work.

The Pi audio sink will support dual audio at some point. That's the best solution.

@RichG: this has nothing to do; I can switch betwen 16:9 or 4:3, but the aspect ratio is always too high (letters are too big).
allan87: Tried Chimney build, but it made no diference whatsoever.
