I've been getting this message:

FATAL ERROR: Unable to populate channels. Please verify that you have scraped media in your library and that you have properly configured channels

Since about 0.2.9 I think, any ideas? I've tried mounting my media different ways (samba, nfs url through xbmc, nfs mount in the os and then adding the local dir through xbmc) but all seem to get the same error. Playing media through xbmc normally works fine.

Beside, Search terms are their any other youtube features wanted? let me know, since i'll be working on it.
I know some users requested random? any other sort orders?

On further review of the code, there is no reason why random doesn't shuffle the youtube playlist... So no need to add random mix.

Don't know if its possible, but some filter options would be good, like minimum video length, exclude keywords, order by date published, relevance...

And a easer way to add channels trought the plugin settings... manually editing the xml is boring...

Channel 5 "RTL Nitro" never shows any data in the epg timeline view,
although parsing the xmltv file and creating the channel.m3u works as expected

Luna, youtube has a feature called "collections" which enables you to combine subscriptions together in a collection. As far as I know thus fart xbmc has no addon to take advantage of this feature. It would be awesome to be able to use collections in ptvl. You can do the same thing by interleaving youtube subscription channels but it would streamline the process to create the collection and then simply add the collection as a channel. I'm not sure whats wrong, your m3u was built... so your 99% there.... I don't see any log errors. Have you tried using a different xmltv source for channel 5?

I'm not sure whats wrong, your m3u was built... so your 99% there.... I don't see any log errors. Have you tried using a different xmltv source for channel 5?

Yes. One other source i tried is 100% utf-8 and is checked against xmltv dtd, but there is the same problem...

I find as a personal preference for everyday use, 3 seconds to be about the sweet spot - the Hybrid/CCM skins which have this great option for normal video playback is set for 3 secs I believe and it works pretty well.
