Hi,

I have plex media server serving my movies as UPNP. I can't seem to add a channel for it though. Any help please?

You only have three options:
1) scrape all your media into xbmcs library bypassing plex.
2) use mylibrary tool and scrape your upnp plex server. Generating individual strms for all media.
3) create directory channels with a path to your upnp folder. Down side all your media will be one channel and would require advanced rules to split into categories.

If you are committed to XBMC you should drop plex, and pick option 1. Running xbmc as a plex client is silly.

How do I get the UPNP videos in my Movies folder to load in PTVL? I'm trying to go with option 1 (see above), and I thought adding a UPNP source to the Movies folder would do the trick. Not sure it will work, PseudoTV needs a duration (runtime) from the database or a physical file to parse for duration. I'm not sure UPNP is part of the traditional database... send a log...

@Lunatixz - happy to report that with the current version the coming up next popup is working. not sure if this was intended or not but it works!

anybody thats using the psuedo cinema chan how is that working out for you? I just tried to add the chan and let it run for about 45 minutes before giving up.

I change a few things around on how PseudoTV Live handles strm files...

Can i see logs? I assume you downloaded the CE pack? under donor

I'll try and get a log to you tomorrow sometime. I went through and sorted all the logo's by size fyi. Working on that a bit here and there. Not many useful ones in the bunch to be completely honest.

I have the exact error on a new install of 13.1 and pseudotv live 4.4. The only change from default is I use an existing mysql database.

Github is driving me crazy its butchering my svn history and not even pushing all my files... so I just deleted the whole thing and will push the newest v.0.4.5 later with lots of direct plugin goodies...

Here's my log - autotuning with the setup described above.

Being able to autotune the movies I've added via UPNP would be awesome. I recently bought the $170 Asus Chromebox and I'm trying to stream as much as possible to it, since it has a relatively small hard drive. So far I can stream my movies, music, and even Steam games from my main HTPC to the Chromebox. It would be fun if I could get all the functionality of my main HTPC on any TV in the house. The only things missing is being able to stream my movie library into PTVL.

PS: It would also be cool if I could stream my LiveTV channels in PTVL from my main HTPC to the Chromebox. Keep up the great work!

As he mentioned few posts above, github is having problem. from your log , it seems you are missing this :
