It seems that the plugin can not open VEVO videos

People say it sometimes plays videos, I concur. I believe this is a relevant part of the debug log? I don't know what's exactly happening, but it seems that primarily music videos don\t want to start (not just vevo, btw)

Is anyone else having problems with the "My Watch Later" option? I have videos queued up on my "Watch Later" playlist/feed on the youtube site, but the plugin is reporting "No videos found"

EDIT: It seems that it was a problem on my end and/or YouTube's end: I just checked a day later, and it seems to be working again. Please disregard my complaint/question Smile

Why dont they just mark this plugin broken?I have been using XBMC for almost a year and have never been able to log in,ever. Yet YouTube works fine on my Sony bluray and roku.
Tried the fix of downloading plugin from git and extracting Youtube login PY file and replacing it.
I can use to search YouTube and all but can and never have been able to login and access my subscriptions.

well, it's been working fine for a year or so, sometime it needed a fix (found in this forum) but overall it has been working fine
till a couple of days ago, youtube must have changed something, now it won't play ani videos

Btw. playlists are working again, without doing anything. @stratotak ?!? Mark as broken? Almost everything is working, except vevo. It's one of the best addons I ever used

Yea I'm getting the same error here for certain video and all vevo videos.

I see what's wrong in the logs, but I'm not sure what the fix is. From what I see the &signature= parameter is missing in videos which don't play. Someone who is more familiar with the code may know what the fix is.

Yeah, in version 4.4.7 the Vevo videos seemed fine but in version 4.4.8, it's broken again. Anyone knows how you can revert to a previous version, since 4.4.8 doesn't improve anything for me...

Do not create a zip of those contents.

Here is the step by step process :
1. Go to : https://github.com/HenrikDK/youtube-xbmc-plugin
2. Download zip ( on the right bottom of the page )
3. uncompress the zip file you downloaded
4. open "plugin" folder and copy "YouTubeLogin.py" ( only this file )
5. go to your plugin folder on your xbmc folders, the folder path depends on your platform ( for example on Android, it is here : androidstorage/Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc/addons/plugin.video.youtube/ )
6.delete or replace "YouTubeLogin.py" on your xbmc folder ( another option is to rename the file like this for example YouTubeLogin_old.py so you can rename it to go back to the original file, if needed )
7.paste, replace or drag and drop the new "YouTubeLogin.py" to this plugin folder on your xbmc.
8.restart xbmc
9. That's it ! You are good to go ! :-)
