Win Changing Video > File viewlist.

Hi all,

Might be a noob question.

I want to customize my viewlist for each section.
So far I found success by editing the myvideonav.xml and mymusicnav.xml.

However, those only apply to Movies and Music Videos (somehow Music didn't show as I wanted).

How do I edit the viewlist option for Video > File > Each folders?

XMBC Helix RC 1 - Titan 3.2.0

Thanks,

Thanks,

Why do you want to edit the skin's source files yourself? That way it will be overwritten at each time the skin gets updated. I have no problem in adding any good suggestions to the skin so maybe you can try to explain what you want to accomplish and I'll merge that request in the skin?

Regards,
Marcel

Good point.

Marcel,

Basically I would like fanart and panel (not panel square) views in Video > Files

OK, added this in the latest beta version of the skin.
please try it out and let me know your feedback.

You can get the beta versions of the skin by installing the beta repo:

Not sure I'm doing it right.

First try:
Kodi > Settings > Addon > Install from Zipfile > select repo downloaded from link above.
Kodi says Add-on enabled > go to get Add-on > select MediaBrowser add on > Skins > titan is NOT there.

Does it build on my existing titan?
So I went out to the menu and go on Video > Files
Open side menu, browse through view list, no changes from before. No Fanart (570) or normal Panel or Panel Wall view.

Am I doing anything wrong in the process of installing the beta repo?

The beta version of the skin has to be on the beta repo link I send you...

the repo from your link is only 18.9 kb. Is that the right link?

and yes I install the repo from zip from your link.

Yeah the repo is just a pointer to the actual content.
Once you installed the repo, you must be able to see a "Titan MediaBrowser BETA" in the available addons under skins...

So,

1. install beta repo (install zip)
2. Install addon --> browse mediabrowser beta repo
3. Point to skins and select "Titan MediaBrowser BETA" and install
4. Set the beta version f the skin as your actual skin

The beta version of the skin has a different id (thats intended) so you can switch between the stable and beta version of the skin.

Thanks,

If you mean by separate view type for each folder, that is impossible. It isn't allowed by the Kodi Operating System.
