Win The Newest version of MediaPortal TVServer - TVServerXBMC plugin
#1
I was wondering if Margro is going to release a newer version of the
MediaPortal TVServer - TVServerXBMC plugin? I see on your website here
https://www.scintilla.utwente.nl/~marcel...rxbmc.html that you put
out v1.6.0.125 a year ago, are you going to recompile it for the latest version of
MediaPortal v1.10? thanks.

That is strange, which version of media portal do you use? I have 1.10.0 from december 26, and it works for me. But I didn't do a clean install I just upgraded an older version...

Although the TVServerXBMC plugin 1.6.0 should work fine in TVServer 1.10, I've just uploaded a new version named "TVServerKodi" for TVServer 1.10.
The reason why it didn't work in v1.10 was probably because you've used the MPEI installer to install it. Installing directly from the .rar should have worked.

Is there any way to use the channel order now as used in the mediaportal tv server?
Now it gets sorted on the channel number rather than the custom order I made in tv server.
I know there's a workaround by editing some number for each channel but it's troublesome and time intensive (having 250+ channels).

And maybe you can have an option to not send the all channels group to kodi? I really never use it.

Just copy the TVServerKodi.dll to MediaPortal's plugin directory and restart the tvserver-service.
You will then be able to configure the plugin with the TVserver-GUI.
