Linux Kodi keeps crashing and returns to login screen
#1
I have an NUC setup with Kodi installed on Ubuntu 14.04

This setup was working perfectly fine, until today when I did a dist-upgrade on my box and after reboot, it keeps crashing and starting again for a few times and then comes back to the Ubuntu Login page, the only thing I have done is the upgrade and installed an Video addon, log file is attached here.

Log File: http://pastebin.com/iQxn5ZPR

I;m unable to parse the log file as needed

First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

no such file in that directory for me

So far I have removed sources.xml, guisettings.xml, mediasources.xml, advancesettings.xml and still not working.

my library sits on mysql databse which is reachable and running.

And it wont start when logging in onto the Unity desktop too

unplug the xbox remote/controller/receiver and try again. If it doesn't work, enable debug(via advanced settings or kodi --debug)

There is no Reciever the NUC has one inbuilt, its just a custom keymap along with other settings to get it running

On a side note, if you want to see the data of the invoking URL in a spreadsheet, you can paste the URL:

http://api.yousee.tv/rest/tvguide/channels/format/json

into json-csv.com

and all the channel info will be in a spreadsheet.

Here's a permalink snapshot for example:
