I won't be running OpenELEC on this one. I'm going to use it as a Windows 8.1 box for my parents. Add some extra RAM, 2.5" HDD for storage, and they'll be off to the races. I'm on the fence about putting a faster/larger mSATA SSD in it.

Not bad, not bad at all. I'm still favoring the HP Stream Mini at this point despite the premium but this is good value for your money.

Anyone running win8.1 and having issues with the Netflix Metro app with 5.1 DD+ tracks? There's no audio and video is v choppy. No issues if select stereo track. Bitstreaming works fine in Kodi and PowerDVD.

Finally got it working after reading countless threads on various sites including majority on Intel's own, I was not alone, the issue is fixed in Intel® HD Graphics Driver for Windows* 7/8/8.1 version 15.33.30.3958 and later, 15.33.32.64.4061 being the latest. Even after running the 15.33.32.64.4061 installer I still had the issue. On looking at the Intel Display Audio driver I noticed the installer had not updated it so I installed it manually (driver 6.16.0.3154) and now DD+ 5.1 finally works in Netflix Metro.

Hopefully this saves someone else the hours I spent on it.

I bought the 2nd Zbox and it arrived and I set it up on a PC monitor. Once this was done I moved it to the TV I want to use (Vizio 37").

This TV can only do 720P or 1080i. When in 1080i the Intel Graphic settings will not allow me to adjust the screen width or height. So all my windows screens are blown off the TVs screen, top bottom and sides. 720P I can adjust it all. Is this a limitation of 1080i and it's just time to go get a new TV for 1080P?

Even the boot screen is too big...

What kind of TV is that?

Hi,

I bought my BI320 a month ago and since then I've been trying to make my cheap chinesse IR remote with no brand name on it work with OpenElec properly. Everything works but I REALLY miss waking from sleep (S3) which doesn't work no matter what I try. Waking it with a keyboard works so I guess it's a IR remote issue.
I wonder - would it help if I bought the Flirc remote? Or a proper MCE remote?

Well, the panel isn't 1920x1080, so I wouldn't worry about trying to send 1080p. Per a quick search on the internet it's 1366 x 768, so if that's not an option I'd just stick to 720p.

Problem is at anything less than 1280x768 Windows apps won't work. It's unfortunate, but my wife uses that Netflix app. Keep trying to tell her, just use the browser. So I'll pass the TV on to the grand kids and spend a few hundred on a new one I guess....

I had the same problem with my Samsung TV. I had to adjust the settings on my tv and turn off overscan. After that my display correctly displayed windows without cropping it.

Thought of that too, but those settings don't exist on this low end TV Wink
Great idea though!

Sam's Club (discount membership store) tomorrow for something around 40 inches with 1080p.
