Ive already added some info for f1 to the sports db, but the last time i checked it out it seemed to be missing a load of key bits and until they are added in there's not much point adding in a fraction of it to have to go back and finish it off.

When i get a bit more time i'll check it out again and see if it's ready to have the artwork etc added to the site.

I just imported all the drivers for 2015 to give it a little boost Wink

Everything else should be ready to go.

Hi Zag,

it's still missing somewhere to put all the event info and artwork (preferably split into years or seasons).

all you can add in now is basic show level artwork and team info, nothing per event or season.

Thanks to BigGr33n lending his artistic talents, there is also a new set of backdrops / fanart for each race!

I've used my limited skills to create a matching poster for each race and am currently working on matching thumbs and banners and some new show artwork.

Once i've finished it all, i'll package it all together and upload it to my google drive & dropbox for anyone how wants it.

Seasons are now working, as are events.

Still asking for some feedback on what motorsport fans want on the event pages? What data and what specific artwork do you want?

Event Description Race Preview Text
Race Banner 1000x185 JPEG
Race Thumb 680x1000 Poster size JPEG
Season example "2015"
Race date example "Sun 15th November 2015"
Race Attendance example "60000"

I've also added a "Map" artwork entry but will leave you guys to decide what dimensions that should be. Let me know and I will add it.

Hi Bart,

Sorry my laptop died in spectacular fashion, so it's delayed me finishing all the artwork.

I've sorted out a new one now and just need to find my install discs for Adobe cs5 and then i'll finish them off.

I'll also pinch your drivers for the 2015 nfo (not that kodi supports season nfo's yet).

Edit: Bart here is a link with just the mexican, backdrop, poster and thumb (i've not done the banner yet). Linky.

This doesn't run off the api from the sports DB.

The sports DB is a great idea and someone (i forget who, but its stated in the sportsdb thread) is building an add-on to take advantage of it, but it's all a work in progress at the moment and not ready for mainstream use.

This thread is a collection of artwork and nfo's, that you put with your own f1 video files so they show up in the tv shows section and look nice in kodi.

If you use the packages from here, just download it and replace the empty mp4 / mkv video files with your own and then add it to kodi as a source and it'll scan and then show up.
