OpenELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 15.0) Part 1
Thanks for your answer. I tested the same BDMV rips with OE 5.0.8 stable and they have the same problem.

I uploaded the debug log here: http://goo.gl/ZP3Z08

I left out all the lines starting with "INFO: Audio: dts:" because that made the log almost 20 MB.

In the log, playback starts at 21:47:23 and I think it stops at 21:49:12. I had to do some seeks to get to the crash point (01:23:12 into the movie).

Apologies if this is the wrong place to report this. I will gladly post elsewhere if you can point me in the right direction.

Since it's not a problem specific to these test builds, you should post your debug log again in the OS Independent section.

There's obviously something odd going on in ffmpeg so you'll need an ffmpeg developer to take an interest:
Code:
21:49:05 192.848007 T:1566569536   ERROR: ffmpeg[5D5FF440]: [mpegts] max resync size reached, could not find sync byte
21:49:05 192.850357 T:1724904512    INFO: Video: dts:4999216578 pts:4999216578 size:88649 (s:1 f:0 d:0 l:0) s:1000 0/0 late:0
21:49:05 192.852051 T:1566569536   DEBUG: CDVDInputStreamBluray::Logger - m2ts_filter.c:207: missing sync byte. scrambled data ? Filtering aborted.
21:49:05 192.852219 T:1566569536   DEBUG: CDVDInputStreamBluray::Logger - bluray.c:646: m2ts filter error
Posting in OS Independent should increase your chances of catching the eye of a suitable developer.

Super! Now everything works fine. Thank you!
Everything is looking good here as well. The sample videos from before are working again and skip forward/backward works as well.
looking really good. On a kick starter 256Mb I have never seen the menu work so well.Before,during and after scraping library all while not being overclocked either, all stock. Slowed down on some heavier addons but regardless very nice work.
I found one wvc file, which dvdplayer plays like on rewind. The video has different real and original fps. Looks like dvdplayer is guided by the original frame rate, not real. If you want to look https://yadi.sk/i/idSFQXPnfp2XM
A small quistion, and maybe it's answerd before..
Why is is the dvdplayer/MMAL hardwareacceleration build into newclock4 ?
I have no PAL 25fps/ISO/mpeg-2 content, that can play smooth with MMAL. I have tryed many settings like adjust framerate to videos.. but all my mpeg-2 content is stuttering, or making jutter. Maybe there is other setting, that I have overlooked ?
All my movies, are playing with no problems, with the omsplayer acceleration, and MMAL switched off.
I have riped off all my DVD menu's, in my ISO backup's, so I have no need for DVD root navigations.
Thanks.

Everything plays smooth for me with dvdplayer. Make sure "adjust display refresh rate to match video" and "sync playback to display" is enabled.
If there is still a problem, then a sample file would be useful.

Silly question maybe - but you have purchased and installed the MPEG2 licence properly?

What happened with the xvdr Plugin? It isn't in the plugin list anymore.

Dropped in build #0324. Use pvr.vdr.vnsi instead.

See PR:4027. If you want it back you'll need to convince the OpenELEC developers.

When addon update functionality is enabled in this build? ;D
Or is it not possible?

It's enabled, it's now in the blade (sidebar) menu.
