Just reporting an issuse:
Ever since yesterday I've been getting "script failed: YouTube!" messages in every attempt to do anything on YouTube.
I was on beta3 and it would work sometimes if I insisted. Today it stopped working all together, even on beta4.
Don't know if it's just me, cause I haven't seen any messages here about it.

I'm using kodi 14.2 Git:2015-03-26.7cc53a9-dirty on an appletv2.
Anyway, just reporting! Cheers!!!!

If I remember correctly, I turned the log on and proceeded to youtube:
my subscription: failed
what to watch: failed
watch later: actually worked!
my subscriptions: failed again

I hope I've done what you requested, sorry if I took a wrong turn somewhere without noticing.

In plugin options is 1080p quality to set, but all videos plays only with 720p why ?
Does it chance for 1080p playback ?

1080p is for live streams. Normal videos are mostly available in 720p

Website yes, but KODI doesn't support them because of DASH. Search the forum for DASH. 1080p and 60fps is only available via DASH.

Something with https/ssl is messed up. I can't really help APTV2 (Helix 14.2 is the last version) is discontinued and python 2.6 is a little bit old

Just delete the cache.sqlite file in the data folder of the addon. Somehow the file/database got corrupted.

I cant log in with this.I keep getting asked to activate even though I have done so on two devices (i.e twice) it just keeps coming back with more letter cominations to log in. Is there something Im missing?

You get 2 codes for one account...try to enter both codes. The first one is for YouTube TV and second one is for YouTube for KODI

I finally managed to log in but now I see No Subscriptions or anything that suggests this is my youtube account? I wanted to be able to watch movies purchased in Google Play but I guess this doesnt allow that?
