Well, if i'm running kodi 15 beta 1 on the m3
and beta 2 comes out
How do i update then? It auto updates on android? Or do i delete everything first of kodi and then reinstall, or do i need to completely flash the device, and reinstall firmware, then the new beta and then again the wrapper?

When a new version of Kodi comes out, I've been uninstalling the old, installing the new, then moving my backed-up .kodi folder over. Have to re-apply HiMedia wrapper APK. There's probably a better way as with Amazon Fire TV, for which I just use ADB and push the new Kodi APK like so... adb install -r kodi-15.0-Isengard_beta1-armeabi-v7a.apk. But, don't know how to do similar with HiMedia.
Now, if a new firmware for HiMedia is out, installing it completely wipes out everything you had on the box. I've made HiMedia engineers aware of this, but for now, I backup .kodi, and end up having to reinstall Kodi, HiMedia wrapper, ESFileExplorer, and any other apps. Also, need to redo HiMedia player settings.

I just put on a USB stick and use HiMedia's file browser to open/install. But, you need ESFileExplorer (with show hidden folders/files enabled) to copy your .kodi folder over (unless you want to do a fresh Kodi install only).

i need the kodi arm version right? or x86?
edit:
M3 4K3D. 27-MAY-2015. FIRMWARE HMD-1.0.9 FUTEKO-EN. Changelog:
1. Pre-installed Skype, Facebook, Youtube, Netflix, Kodi.
2. Fixed Kodi and Chrome cannot update.
3. Miracast.
4. One click to enter APPs on the main UI.
5. Supports 23.976fps.
It says kodi is preinstalled? so i dont have to install it again?
Which version is preinstalled? 15 beta 1?

You could stay with 14.2 pre-installed or update to kodi ARM 15.0 beta 1.

No, I recall they will both coexist. I just uninstalled 14.2 and went with latest 15.

Which version box do you have? Does it have Chinese writing/branding or English? Firmwares for two are different.

Updated post #1 chart to add Minix X8-H Plus and HiMedia Q10/M3.
