I run a WISP and have a 320ft fall tower about 1 mile from my home.. I would like to put a antenna system up that will receive channels from Lafayette, Baton Rouge and New Orleans markets.. I have no questions about setting up the antennas.

I would like to take the feed from the antennas and stream them real time to KODI boxes for my self and other employees. I was thinking of setting up a server with a bunch of OTA tuner cards, I am at a loss for what software I should run on the box.

I would prefer it to be linux based.
It does not have to have a DVR only live streams is ok "All tho say the option to view the last 12 hours would be nice".

For DVB there are many tools for redistributing feeds over multicast (dvblast and mumudvb comes to mind), but I'm not sure if they work for ATSC (OTA in America). tvheadend (a Linux software for watching/recording/streaming TV) supports ATSC to some degree so you could probably use that as well.

I have seen the DVB stuff for the freeview channels mostly on UK sites.. That is sweet how several channels are multiplexed and you can tune the whole band with 6 tuner cards...

I was looking at using MythTV as it is just about the best option i have come up with when searching around.. Thanks for the tip on tvheadend I have not came across that one yet..

I wish I could find A wideband tuner for the ATSC band...

Don't think that there are any ongoing attempts to make dedicated http://kodi.wiki/view/PVR clients for Kodi to fully utilize PVR backends like DVBlast and MuMuDVB or?

I can only wish and hope that such dedicated PVR clients for DVBlast and MuMuDVB which support multicast will be made for Kodi some day in the near future.
