Hi, I run Beelink i68 (Rockchip RK3368) with Android 5.1 and Kodi 15.2 RC.

When I switch on automatic refresh rate change, nothing happens. The resolution is set to "Auto", and it defaults to 1080p@60.
The box is rooted. Is there anything I have to do, or shall I submit a bug?

This Kodi seems to support auto refresh rate switching on Rockchip RK3368 Lollipop firmware.

Not sure about passthrough support.
Sad that SPMC won't be updated for a while and official Kodi refresh rate switching also doesn't work.

The installed failed. Just get a message "not installed". Do I need to remove kodi first?

Alright, it WORKED.I had to uninstall the old one. So what do I have to do to make the team put those working changes into the mainline code? I generally dislike forks, especially when I will run something that is wife friendly, and not a science bedroom project

I did make an 'issue' on Koying's SPMC's github branch also.

I guess the HDMI display file changed on Lollipop firmware compared to KitKat, but not quite sure what is different.
Thus I can't give the correct code to fix the problem.

Why wasn't this problem been fixed yet?
Looks like AMLogic devices that had very little support in the past, gets all the attention now.
Just hope Rockchip won't be abondoned as their devices work quite well.

It's not fixed yet because no rockchip users submitted a ticket, which I did now.
I guess the AMLogic crowd gets all the love since they nag and possibly the dev(s) have it. One can only speculate

Automatic refresh rate switching was fixed in a Rockchip fork maintained by Zidoo.

It works on Zidoo, Tronsmart, Himedia devices and others that support new firmware.
Tronsmart firmware can also be installed on the Beelink RK3368 since Beelink's support vanished and their devices are the same as paperweights when you buy them know.

That Kodi fork is actually maintained by Zidoo but Rockchip has their own Kodi fork that they release to manufacturers and mostly to Zidoo first.
The Rockchip Kodi is actually made by both Rockchip and Zidoo engineers.
But Zidoo does most of the work and report bugs to Rockchip that help fix it.
Without Rockchip's changes to their SDK this Kodi wouldn't work and with newer forks Rockchip also has to make changes to their SDK for Zidoo's changes and their own to work correctly.
I got the Kodi patches that Zidoo posted on their github already 2 weeks ago from my manufacturer that got it directly from Rockchip that included Rockchip's compiled Kodi that don't have the Zidoo logos etc.
