I have the Tronsmart Orion R68 that I got for $50 from there introductory sale. The SoC seems to be pretty good, but like the other Rockchip TV boxes, it can't passthru Dolby or DTS via HDMI from Kodi. It also grabs a different MAC address on each reboot, this causes it to get a different IP address on the network on every reboot. Last major problem, only 2 gig of allocated storage, I can't add all my basic apps because of no room.
I hope Zideoo is not all talk.

After almost a year, you will think they would drop the price on the Q5.

i do me test with my favorites 3D iso movie: pacific rim, star trek , transformer ecc and now:
- 3d is amazing ! perfect! no ghost!
- more 3d deep and effect
- picture quality is increase , with my plasma i seem have oled !
i have playback yesterday first part fo Mad Max: Fury Road with old firmware(it's became late so i had go to sleep ) and today i playback second part of film with new firmware, there are visible improvements of 3d and picture quality.
For me now Q5 is A+ for local file , the only missing with this box is better support for kodi video addon and web streaming.
There are some stutter, but it can happen from ripped file or file NAS buffer streaming, in total 5+6 with some movie.
I have test 23,976fps with motionbar test video ,no stutter.

Thanks for the feedback looun, sounds like HiMedia has delivered (for the most part). The "total 5+6 with some movie" stutters per movie doesn't sound so good though.
