Release Retrospect v5.5.x Video Add-On
When I start some SVT play streams I dont get into fullscren playback mode. The stream starts but I'm still in the view with list of different episodes. I have to press <Tab> to watch the video. This is not very kids friendly. This happens for maybe half of the streams I have tried. I think that this problem is restricted to geo locked streams but not all of the geo locked streams. Example of show that doesn't work is Pettson och Findus.

I'm running openelec 6 on a rpi 2

Interesting. Well, I just tried them and they all seem to be fine. The fact is that Retrospect only sends stream to Kodi. It does not control any of the focus stuff. Could you try playback and post a full debug kodi.log and retrospect.log on pastebin.com and link them here?

Thanks, I will do that once I get some time (not very soon)

I love your work on Retrospect, but I was wondering if it's possible to add videos from Ketnet as well...
Would this be hard to do?

It was present once, but I removed it due to site changes. Can you create an "enhancement request" on the issue tracker: https://bitbucket.org/basrieter/xbmc-onl...issues/new

I don't have an account on that, I'd love to try and help as well, but I have no clue on how to get the url so...

Well, if you have a Google, Facebook, Twitter or GitHub account it will take you a single click to get an account at Bitbucket. That is the one and only place where we try to keep track of what to do or to fix. A bitbucket account is also required to get the most recent nightly code to test new channels.

Hi.
I'm trying to get the Retrospect repository up in my Kodi but something seems to be broken. When I go to http://www.rieter.net/install (which ends up at http://www.rieter.net/net.rieter.xot.www/install.php) all I find is a link to a zip file that doesn't exist, trying to access http://www.rieter.net/net.rieter.xot.www...-1.0.5.zip just gives me http 404. Am I looking in the completely wrong place here?

You can only use the http://www.rieter.net/install from WITHIN Kodi itself. Please follow the steps here: http://www.rieter.net/content/xot/troubl...g/install/. You cannot access http://www.rieter.net/install outside of Kodi. You watch the 1m27s Youtube video and follow these steps.

Well, actually I got stuck after only six seconds of the guide (there is no "Add source" in my the file manager of my Kodi) so I thought I might as well download the zip manually and then import it. Is there a reason to not allow the file to be downloaded that way?

/Daniel

edit: Found the setting for showing the "add source" now. I've never ever needed the file manager before and when I last added a source (many years ago) that option wasn't there :-)

Well, the installation tutorial clearly states that if you download it from within Kodi you can use http://www.rieter.net/install, otherwise just go to the download section of the site (http://www.rieter.net/content/xot/downloads/) and download the repository from there.

But good to hear that you have found the "add source" in the file manager.

That is correct. I am in progress of moving repositories around (and removing the nightly repo) to make life a bit more easy for me. Read here: http://www.rieter.net/content/2015/12/05...ings-done/. It will only be temporarily and then the repository will be available on https://bitbucket.org/basrieter/xbmc-online-tv/.

EDIT: should be up now at https://bitbucket.org/basrieter/xbmc-online-tv

Since the Milhouse build #1220 Retrospect gives an error: "Fout bij het ophalen van de items". Do you know what can cause this error?

Don't know if it's just me and my setup, but as of mid-December (or so) I'm unable to play any content from Swedish UR Play. Any attempts return the same error message "the chosen episode could not be played" . I have now gotten around to locating the log-file and this seems to conclude things from a log perspective:

This is on an ATV2 running XBMC 13.2 (I hesitate to upgrade further, it's slow and prone to crash as it is).

Never done it before, but if need be I can open a formal ticket, I have performed the same action as above in debug mode with log available. Would be good to know that it's not my own setup which is the likely culprit first (and/or if this is a known issue already).

Edit: Dunno if there's any theoretical connection , but I've tried with the "buffer http request" option both off and on.
