Ok, tested this Kodi, and installed it over the existing. Hope thats not a factor.
Anyway i dont get Atmos and i dont get DTS master to show up on my reciver, so for me this did not do the trick so far.
I have enabled pasthorug and everything as postetd on side 1. but no Luck.

My setup is a Beelink r68 With Hdmi to my Denon X4100 wich totally play Atmos and dts master With no problem from other Sources like my Mede8er.
But not from this andoid Box.

I have set hdmi to bitstream in setting at the Box itself so it should read the sound.
But where it says "audio output Device" I can see some of you can see Your reciver, but mine is greyed out and it only says "android, Audiotrack."

When i enable passthrough i get this loss of sound every 6-7 Seconds just for a few milliseconds but i can see the reciver reacts to it and the speakersymbols on my reciver Dashboard is blinking every time that happens.

I am a little lost here as for now.. Any suggestions to try?
I have tried a ATMOS media file wich i can play With my mede8er and then it totally makes my house rumble, but playing the same file With this beelink is not giving a great sound and my subs bearly move.
The surround effect also is really poor and its not "around me" as it is when playing from the Mede8er.

_koying, just installed SPMC and it didnt help, it got vorse, i didnt get Picture on my videos just pixels randomly over the screen.
And the passthrough made a awful technical sound.
Ill try and flash my beelink and try again

I downloaded and installed the newest Version.
If i activate the Passtrough and start a Movie like Avengers, the sound works perfect and my AVR says DTS.
But randomly the Receiver just crashes and turns of. I have no idea why.
It also happens if i disable passtrough, set the number of channels to 7.1 set output to fixed, sample rate 192 and Support 8 channcel DTS-HD Decoding on.

Has anybody an idea what the problem might be ?
I*m getting pretty desperate.

It already is in 17, in basically the state of the first test apk.
No hard work for my successor to backport the fixes done in this thread to 17.

i now tested a movie with dts sound with the google player on the shield and it worked perfectly ... so i only have this "Crash" problem with Kodi ...

Just updated to the latest version. Now I have audio sync issues. Pass through worked fine with previous version, think it was dated 22nd. Using a Denon AVR X2200 W. Same problem for DTS and DD 5.1. Is there anyway to re-install an older version? Has anybody a link to an older version?

Before I post a debug log, curious if anyone having sync issues (dialogue doesn't match with mouth) with 7.1 audio movies like Ant Man and Jurassic World

On the latest build, there is some audio out of sync on DD 5.1 feeds.

Also, Kodi admins have lost their mind with not bringing this back in. There is no logic to it. Sounds like childish politics

yep forgot to say i have same problem audio out of sync on every file format i've tried.
