about remotes:
I know many of you are waiting for a solution. But I only use a CEC remote wich works out of the box. So someone else has to find a solution. If he does, I will integrate it.
For Linux it seams that jwhite has a working solution. (https://github.com/logi85/plugin.video.f.../issues/13) just waiting for pull request so I could integrate.
Hope someone will find a good solution for windows too.

Not sure where you find the time to do these updates so quickly, but it's certainly appreciated!! I'm at work at the moment, but will test the 'cannot update playcount...' issue when I get home.

My MCE remote seems to work out of the box too, just lucky I guess. I'm using the MCERemote add-on - not sure if that would affect things?

Unfortunately the 'cannot update playcount...' issue still exists under 0.4.5, log below. Launching the chrome browser from a 32-bit machine works. I notice (I think someone else also mentioned it) that choosing a movie and adding it to My List under the context menu, causes Flix2Kodi to crash and then ask to re-login. I'll raise github issues when I'm back home.

hi, please remove series/movies from the database-folder .../addondata.../library/ which contain ’ in it's name and try again. If it works, try to add these series/movies again to library and try again.

I updated my AHK script for more comfortable usage. Please try it out. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1122...etflix.zip

Caveats:

1. Windows only, obviously.

2. You probably need the MCERemote addon from the kodi repo installed. Could someone test and tell me if it works without it?

3. Subtitle toggling is not implemented. I might add it if people want it

Can someone please provide me a basic step-by-step guide to get this working on Kodibuntu standalone.

- please check the window-name of edge. I used "Edge" in edge.cmd (keysender/windows)

- please check the process-name of edge. I used "MicrosoftEdge.exd" in edge.cmd (launcher/windows)
- please report wrong parameters
- try to launch the edge.cmd (launcher/windows) with an url as parameter. It should open edge, open the url and switch to fullscreen mode (not kiosk, it seams edge has no kiosk-mode).
- !Important! The edge.cmd script should remain until you close edge. after closing, it should terminate (~2secs gap)

thx!
Tried. Doesn't go full screen, the OK button on the remote just brings up the episode list.
Nogo for me as of now, back to Chrome.
Window name is apparently Netflix, if you mean the "tabname" at the top.

Tried your old script with "0", no luck.
In the end, I found a workaround - programmed the Exit button to send an Alt-F4 (I have a Harmony 600 remote) and disabled the MCERemote addon to prevent it from hijacking the signals. Now I can exit from the Chrome window back to Kodi.

Not sure why the script didn't work for you. Maybe because you're using a universal remote, I dunno. Glad you found a solution

@logi85, great work mate. Noob here.. but trying to help if possible..

Re: EDGE

Edge is launched and stream starts, but as adiadi advised, full-screen option not working, no key presses are working (could well be my setup though). I think if Alt+Space+X is sent as one this will not work... essentially Alt+Space bring up a menu for the window then X selects Maximum. Maybe if X can be sent separately after Alt+Space - may work?

As for process: I think the window/process name is "Netflix - Microsoft Edge"... Looks like you're looking for "Edge". There appears to be a process running for edge and one for each window/tab open....
The main process (listed as Microsoft Edge) is C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdge.exe
Additional processes (listed as Microsoft Edge Content Process) are C:\Windows\SystemApps\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\MicrosoftEdgeCP.exe

At some point I'll install the Netflix Windows 10 app and tinker where I can, hope something above may be of use.

@vorta, hmm, I'm not getting same error, I have same setup.

Ran the aplay -l command, got this:

Code:
card 0: HDMI [HDA Intel HDMI], device 3: HDMI 0 [HDMI 0]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: HDMI [HDA Intel HDMI], device 7: HDMI 1 [HDMI 1]

  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC283 Analog [ALC283 Analog]
  Subdevices: 1/1
  Subdevice #0: subdevice #0

But not sure what to put in the Chromium configure tab for custom audio device. Tried CARD=HDMI,DEV=0, but it didn't work. Does anyone know the correct syntax?

Also wondering about Ash deskatop, and stop XBMC player and suspend audio settings.

Thanks so much.

try to create a file called .asoundrc in your home-folder and paste the following:
Code:
pcm_slave.hdmi {
        pcm "hdmi:CARD=HDMI,DEV=0"
}

pcm.!default {
        type plug
        slave hdmi
}
had the same issue on intel nuc.
please report, if it works for you!

Fixed it, didn't use the asoundrc file, just put the correct device into the "Use Custom Audio Device" field in the configuration settings of the Chromium addon. For me, just set to hw:0,3, but your mileage may vary. Used the aplay -l command to see devices. Also enabled the "Stop Play & Suspend Audio Engine" setting in the Chromium addon. By the way, I'm using v.6.0.4 of the Chromium addon with my Openelec setup.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

Upgraded Chromium to latest version, 6.04, it now launches in full screen. Yeah! Haven't tested sound etc., but that's next. It took me to the Netflix login screen in the browser. Is that normal? Wondering what the point of the login info in the addon is.

Hi,
the addon should set the cookies for chrome. Perhaps your chrome installation uses a custom folder to store profile data. The default is /home/user/.config/google-chrome/Default/Cookies if you or another openelec user could tell me the right folder on openelec, I'll modify

Logi85, I looked around for where Chromium sets the cookies on Openelec. Not sure where to look, but went in with ssh/Winscp and looked around, it appears the data for Chromium is stored in /storage/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/browser.chromium/profile. Hope that helps.

Caveats:

1. Windows only, obviously.

2. You probably need the MCERemote addon from the kodi repo installed. Could someone test and tell me if it works without it?

3. Subtitle toggling is not implemented. I might add it if people want it

I have tried your script, thanks for sharing! But it does not seem to do anything for me... I already played around with MCE Remote before trying to exit for flix2kodi but can't get it to work. Which option in MCE Remote do I need to choose to get your script to work?? I am on windows 10 btw, will this make a difference??

Also tried to program alt+F4 on my harmony remote (that I am using downstairs, upstairs I have a cheap chinese MCE remote) but can't get this to work as well..

And tried to remap some keys with LM Remote keymap, but this did not work as wel..

Maybe one of the things that I have tried is interfering with the other, I don't know, but it is starting to get annoying Big Grin

I'm using Openelec 6.0.0 on a Intelnuc with Chronium 6.0.4. I don't have any problems what so ever... so i dont think it is a good idea to change anything in it.

The first time you start a movie you always have to log in thorugh the browser, that's normal behavior. The second time it just works.
