Kodi DSPlayer – DirectShow Player for Windows
I tried Sanear audio renderer, but it seems pretty limited at the moment. When using Wasapi, Reclock outputs the correct signal, 2.0, 5.1, 7.1 etc. When using Sanear it always sends 7.1 with empty channels I'm guessing (Windows speaker setting).

Is it set to Exclusive mode?

No matter how many times I read the tutorial I can't get it working...

Are you playing SMB shares?

Chances are this will remain unsolved, but I'll ask anyways.

When streaming official Kodi builds to my Steam Link, it works perfectly. However, when using Kodi DSPlayer, I get a black screen but can still hear audio. I have tried builds 16.0 Beta 1, 15.2, and 15.1 with the exact same results. What's weird is that when I play a video (by looking at my monitor, which shows Kodi), I can see it on the TV connected to the Steam Link, but when I try to return to the menu I'm met with a black screen again. I don't think I can submit this as a bug, since it isn't an issue with the actual player, but rather a side effect of some difference between Kodi DSPlayer and Kodi. If anyone can offer insight or help I would greatly appreciate it.

Specs, if it matters:

CPU: i7-4770k
GPU: GTX 970
OS: Windows 10

Can anyone give me a straight, In Scaling Algorithms madVR, I have 3 active profiles, 1080p, 720p and SD, I would create a quarter profile to only content at 1080p / 3D

Obviously, the profile created for 1080p, is only for 2D content, with a setting NNEDI3 / 128 Neurons, that my GTX970, playing you have about 30 ms of total rendering, is a fairly high but still below the FRAME 41ms. NO dropped frames.

After this introduction, I come to the issue.

the problem comes to light when I play back 1080p content / 3D content with ripped MakeMKV for 3D.

3D content reproduced hooks profile 1080p / 2D madVR and with the above settings have a very high value of dropped frames, about 68ms rendering total.

For this reason, I would like to create a profile 1080p / 3D, with settings more conservative, that when content is played 1080p / 3D, is NOT hooked profile 1080p / 2D, but the profile 1080p / 3D madVR.

I ask, is' possible to do this, with the rules only for 3D content, with what rules?

thanks.

So as Warner306 pointed out in another thread WebDAV is not supported right now by the DSPlayer build.

Will it ever be supported in the near future? Sad

Yes. Works fine with bitstreaming though.

Nope. There is no dev working on DSPlayer anymore.

Warner is just keeping the code up to date but once Jarvis hits final and releases its final build, there won't be anything he can do to get it working on V17, AFAIK.

Everything is playing OK now with the Samba protocol but 3840p files... 😧

1st video frame loads, goes in the background while the directory view comes up again and audio goes on playing (without being able to stop the playback).

I tried to use both madVR settings and DSPlayer ones.

If I use MPC-HC + madVR the 3840p demos (HDR too) play smoothly and without issues.

Nevermind as it came out that the Samsung HDR demo had a .TS extension and that was the (unknown to me) reason why it was played as an audio file.
As soon as I renamed it (to .MP4) everything was working and I could enjoy HDR 3840p video played AT LAST with Kodi! Rofl
