It should work and it already does work for some. The new version will have the same login code. It seems to work for almost everyone and I don't see anything (right now at least) that should be changed.
For now you just need to eliminate as many variables as possible. Disable unblock-us on your router and see if you can successfully login and start a stream.

Intentional and inconsequential. I picked parts of the official apps and web browser that would best suit the add-on. The session key is universal.

I could never get the addon working with unblock-us. However, I switched to adfreetime (which is cheaper btw) and the addon has been working perfectly. I was getting the same error as you before making the switch to adfreetime.

this add-on is really great. Thanks for all the great work. Is it possible/feasible to rewind live streams, or start from the beginning of live games? just curious, did you have to reverse engineer the NHL tv app, or did you find a REST api spec?

I could never get the addon working with unblock-us.

How strange, I normally use UnoDNS and while NHL.tv on PS4+UnoDNS works fine, it does not work when I use Kodi with this addon. When I switch to Unblock-Us, the Kodi addon for NHL.tv works just fine.

Not possible, kodi limitation. I would really like a start from beginning feature but kodi automatically starts a live stream at current position (3 segments from the end actually). As new segments are acquired old ones are thrown out, thus fast forward and rewind won't work either. I would imagine this will be changed someday.

There is a problem with quality settings. Recaps and Highlights are only with 30fps.

And the options best, 5000, 3500, 2500 don't make a difference.

Full Games and aslive = 60fps.


fanarts only display when a spoiler is active. It this correct?

I am testing no spoilers only archives games. the early games are over but the scoring is alread on.

Seems to have been unblock-us related so no issues once the dns has been removed. I don't need it to avoid blackouts as I'm in Australia

The replays are only 30 fps because thats what the NHL offers. Nothing devs can do about that.
