He's waiting to add it to the repo after he gets everything working properly. Think of this as a beta version working towards the final version which will then be released in the repo. In the meantime:

Can you guys tell me a easy way to get to the now playing screen, Eg if im 10 folders deep click play , then it starts, I hit back to go to the menu, How do I easily get back to the movie playing ?

In the past ive had to back all the way out to the main menu then hit back.. Other skins dont require this.

Hit the "tab" key if you have a keyboard attached, takes you back to whatever's playing.

There are some good remotes with keyboards on the back that can be had fairly cheap. You may also be able to remap one of the keys on your existing remote to act like a tab key. Download the key remapper from kodi repo and give it a shot

While you're on a roll making skin improvements and adjustments, I'd like to take this opportunity to make a few suggestions:


1. Reduce cropping for poster images (if possible):

I've been noticing that poster images in various views appear cropped on the sides and was wondering whether this was intentional or not. Would be great if you can find a way to minimise the amount being cropped off while maintaining the aspect ratio. For most posters, it's not that much of a big deal, but for those with text, it can mean that some of the text is chopped off. Here's a couple of examples I've quickly screenshotted to give an idea:

2. Hide bottom OSD when adjusting subtitle offset/delay:

When making adjustments to the offset for subtitles, it very difficult to see the subtitles you are adjusting because of the OSD covering up most of the subtitles.
I've attached a screenshot to give an idea:



3. Genre icons

Not really important, but the addition of genre icons would be great

Old versions from artic zephyr did hide watched movies and TV shows when selected as a widget for the home screen. I'm I just missing something why that doesn't work anymore?

Or do I have to select a different widget?

In a future update can you add the ability to list the movies in a collection when navigating / searching.

Similar to how Arctic Zephyr: Exploded is doing it in their MOD.

I thought I had already integrated the info service addon. Maybe I haven't I will have to check when I'm near the computer (posting from my phone atm).

Is this view possible? I can't find how to activate it

For the love of god can someone tell me how to get zephyr on my firestick? I'm running the latest jarvis 16 release. It seems there is no repo i can install it from and I've tried side loading it (using my mac and adbfire) from every zip file I've found on the internet. Ranging from the older archtic/zephyr to the newest one. Its been driving me crazy for almost 3 hours now. on older versions of kodi it was already under appearence/get more. Since to me it is pretty much what i concider the absolute best skin,id like to continue using it without having to download a special build like the royalist. If anyone can help id be extremely grateful.

Great skin, easy to navigate and looks very pretty.

Just one question, is it possible to force the same view for everything? I like the view: extra info best but this isn't the default view so I end up having to adjust it manually every time which is rather annoying. I looked through the settings but couldn't find any option to define a default view.

In case it matters I'm on 16.0 and using Emby for Kodi for my media database.

i have the latest java version from github running on my firestick.
Simply download the zip file from github , i did this on my pc and then transferred to firestick using the ftp facility within es file explorer on the firestick and winscp on PC .....and then in kodi addon setting install from zip....takes a while to download all dependencies and for skin to appear...maybe upto 5mins
