Maybe that will end up being the only way to fix this issue. Google asks for your consent and grants you permission.

Btw, please don't choose anymore smoking girls for troubleshooting. That was disgusting of her behaving like a chimney.
Hahahahahahaha I'm sorry about my fetish.

The point is I'm pretty sure I have done this also in my Rasp with the old Google account, without success. I'll spend some time with this ASAP

Just testing if you can see this here without issues.
@rodalpho,

We'll figure it out, but it'll take some time and possibly some join.me time as well, since it's limited to possibly your client. Since it is a smaller issue, i think let us figure the other stuff out, i know it's a pain to deal with it the way you're using it but bare with me as I'm still figuring this stuff out.

thanks
Jeff

Even after a clean install, I get items out of order in my subscriptions on page 2, and I recall this also happening on page 1. Also you're right-- only unchanged default sort ascending works at all, changing the sort breaks it entirely.
Tally as of Weds Mar 30th 2016.

1. Watch later list does NOT remove the actual video from the list (automated or otherwise)
2. Age restriction blocks people from watching the Video.
3. Adding channels to "favorites" doesn't auto-update
4. My Subscriptions does NOT sort by date
5. Incorrect information on addon listing. Grammar or Spelling incorrect.
6. Issue with sorting on "My Subscriptions"

No History. When using this addon, any watched video will not be listed in the history. However, watched videos on youtube app or any browser on pc are listed in the history.

I can confirm this too, although I haven't checked history for a while so I can't suggest if it's an Addon problem or an API problem.

It used to be that videos watched in the addon showed in the addon's history, but not on the web. I remember at the time Bromix said this was an API issue and not something he could fix.

Thats what I posted a few days ago with the question if this is only a problem on my raspberry. Thanks for the answers.
I figured out, that its not possible to add the watched videos with the API. Adding directly the video in the watchHistory is restricted. In the sourcecode I see that bromix is trying to open the video as browser via https://www.yotube.com/tv to add the Video in the History. But this function is called before he will delete the videos from the watch later list.

Quote:1. Watch later list does NOT remove the actual video from the list (automated or otherwise)
Did it add the video on the history? Like I said, at first bromix "add" the video to the watch history and then he delete it from the watchlater list in his code.

@jdf76 I would join you and try to help, sadly I have no idea how to create an addon / zip-file for KODI. Everytime it told me that the ZIP-File had a bad structure. It could not read the changelog.txt ... Maybe if you could help me to understand, I can try to help you to fix some problems Smile Python is new for me but I've knowings in C#, HTML, Javascript and I'm always open minded
Yes, I can see it here Smile

Yes I can see that video via YouTube in Kodi too. Double check your birthday is set correctly here: https://aboutme.google.com/

More info here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3159776?hl=en

NOTE: it also says you need to sign out and sign back in after updating your age/birthday.

Also I guess there is the possibility that restricted mode is enabled somewhere/somehow: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/174084?hl=en

Hi guys.

Just a friendly suggestion, but given that support and development has been picked up by a different user, is it maybe better to start a new thread?
Right now if someone searches for youtube+kodi on a searchengine, this thread comes up. But there's no way of knowing where to start looking for support for the new version. Also he has to go through some 250 pages before finding out where the new version is located.

That wouldn't be an issue with a new thread. Further on, we can ask the OP of this thread to edit his first post and add a link to the new thread.

I'll check'em later. Today I'm gonna understand what's going on here Smile

Thanx for the URLs !!
+1 on starting a new thread. At this point, it's a real challenge to determine where to go to obtain the most current instructions.

In the meantime, can anyone point me to what page contains the current instructions? TIA

The current instructions for what ?
Download the latest version and install from ZIP or wait until it's added to the repository.

You can fix this yourself if you go your privacy options in this link and enable it.
https://aboutme.google.com/

If it doesn't work after that then you should logout and login again to YouTube.
If it still doesn't work recheck your settings.
Totally fixable by you and no one else here.

OK, seems to be fixed. What I did :

Set my birthday date as public, and year as shown (It was set to private and therefore not shown by default).
Reboot my mobile phone, as I don't know how to log out on a Google account on an Android. (Maybe this one's the key)

Disconnect and click on Register again in the YouTube add on.

Well, not so easy to get it, but at least it's not an issue with the add-on. Maybe some explanation somewhere to make things easy.

Thanx a real lot!!!
Great, but just a note - my birthday is still set to Private and it still works.

To log out of a google account in android you go to settings > accounts (or similar). You will find google, and skype, and various things there.
