I use the "Unlocator" DNS service through to get around blackout restrictions which is setup on my router and works fine for the MLB.tv app on my XBone, my desktop computer, and my HTPC when using the browser, however when using this addon it fails to play the "local" team and in the log it shows it is due to blackout restrictions.
What is going on with this addon that it bypasses the unlocator DNS service and is there any way to fix that? I really don't like having to go through a proxy and add a potential bottleneck in the connection line, especially when this service has worked great with every other browser and app on my network, including the old MLBMC addon.
Regardless, I love the addon, just wish I could play my "local" team without having to switch over to my XBone. :-(

Just wondering if anyone has this app working on OpenELEC? If so, what did you do?
It works fine for me on Windows Kodi, but it won't work on OpenELEC on RPI2 or x64.
Both give the same error, see post #205, don't want to post it again as it's long.

Just set this add-on up in my Kodi install (on Fire TV) today and it worked great! Thanks eracknaphobia for putting together a working add-on. Now I don't have to mess with that terrible MLB.TV-for-Fire-TV app any more.

Hello!
I'm still giving this addon a try, because the older one "mlbmc" doesn't work anymore on my device... :-(
But I also can't get to work mlb.tv...
Here's the log, I hope so much it helps...:
