Do you recall trying "Clear Cached Data" option when that happened in your setup? This seems like a problem with cookies rather than authentication (as authentication details returned details successfully)

Maybe next time someone encounters this, they can try the clear cache route. It should not require re-authentication, just getting fresh xml & cookies and forcing a cache reload.

To say @awaters1 did a great job restoring full functionality to the add-on would be a serious understatement.

There are, however, a couple of minor changes I would like to suggest:

1. An option to use the legacy menu by default. Maybe I'm just used to the old menu, but I like it better. I am most interested in live events, and I have little to no interest in the short clips provided in the "enhanced" menu. I've tweaked the code on my local machine to allow this, and added a link to the "enhanced" menu at the bottom. Very simple mod to make this happen.
   
   
2. Remove the colors from the menus, or add an option to do so. Not a big fan of the color coding of the network names and other items in the menus. In some ways, it's actually harder for me to read (I'm old and no longer have perfect vision though), and the various colors clash with some skins. I've also tweaked the code on my local machine to add an option to do this, although I've probably taken the long road in making this happen, and I'm sure an actual coder could do this better than I.
   

With or without these changes, it's a great add-on again thanks to the excellent work done by @awaters1.

Thank you guys for the feedback, I use it to drive the menu system and options. I have made some enhancements in the develop branch, my next main focus will be to get this into the Kodi repository after some testing rounds.

I was able to duplicate the issue. It seems like this happens when there is a conflict in the Kodi cookies.dat file with ESPN using some new domains. I was able to delete the Kodi cache (cookies.dat) and fix the issue when the previous workaround didn't work for me (Delete addon and addon userdata directories).

@MetalChris, looks like the latest develop from @awaters1 has all of your suggestions incorporated ! Also looks like he has finished all the device emulations as well (AppleTV, tvOS, Roku, AndroidTV). Would love to see more folks giving suggestions on the home menu layout.

I've moved over the repo build and getting a similar error as before (no live ESPN feeds will load, only ESPN3).

Deleting the plugin and re-authenticating didn't help this time - Where is the cookies.dat file located in Kodi that you mentioned?

It's located in the /kodi/temp folder.
