This was a complete unboxing video done 4 days ago of the play 2 being unboxed and it definitely had 2 satellite tuners on the back.

Confused ??

The ports are labled with "RF IN" and "RF OUT" ...
I am not using SAT, so I don't know if this means 2x SAT IN or you can put another device behind the play2 ...

The focus of that guy in the video is awful had to stop it soon after playing lol, the title of the video says "WeTek Play 2" but the description says "WeTek Play 2 - S " but the box looks like the Play2 not the S version which i dont think review copies of that model have been sent out yet. You might be better just waiting till droidelec replies back

Sat is single tuner (I have one in front of me now). I guess the RF out is for passthrough mode when the box is off. Bit pointless tbh.

Thanks tredman. Guess I need to wait for the Play 2s but I do want to know more on the WeTV side which I assume the 2s will use.

Imo, it's not very good....

No multiepg, plus channel number and order are lost when importing from enigma 2 files. Upside is signal level is decent as is PQ.

WeTV looks like a beta to me, it could be very good, but it isn't yet.

Hmm ok. Well to compete in the tv market it'll need to provide a decent epg with up to 7 days listings and on the recording side have series link. From what I have been able to find, it has potential.

As far I see it wrxtasy couldn't stand that I started this thread instead of him...Maybe I'm wrong but everything points in this direction and he didn't even try to clear that up.

And please wrxtasy don't call my review `mini` because this is full review of whole device.

This thread is very confusing now, we have a seperate threads on the other wetek products so why not the Play 2?

Ah, didn't realize when I too suggested combining that the larger thread was the WeTek upcoming products thread @wrxtasy had started a while back around their Dubai show. So, skimming back though this thread now, there is a lot of discussion around not just Play2, but Hub, AMLogic, etc. Only the bookends kinda are Play2 focused.

On that note, I'd have to agree w/@Draghmar that the thread he started probably should've been the Play2 specific thread, similar to approach @wrxtasy took with his Hub specific thread.
