Win Intel HTPCs/NUCs & Kodi-native 3D MVC Playback
I'm using the september bulid on a Dell micro 3050 with windows 8.1 pro[just purchassed].No need to hunt for drivers!Works allnost instantly. My receiver is Pioneer VSX528.
First I didn't had the UP/UNDER option in my tv.Switched to 59p[from 60i] and my tv works like it should again.
Another issue: I always had a dificult "hand-shaking" after frame switching....so I disabled frame switching[sett NEVER].
My 3d bd isos are working anyway,3d mkvs are working too.Audio passthrough is working as it should."Hand-shaking" issue is gone!
I'm just lucky...I think,

3D BR Isos with HI-RES. passthrough are working on my Belink MXIII[minix U1 ported rom] too.Player:SPMC 16.4.2.
Using Didubuy S95 Dragon[stock rom]:3D BR Isos working, but NO HI-RES passthrough[only plain ac3 and dts audio].Actualy I disabled dts 'cause this one has "glitches" every 8 secs. The player is SPMC 16.4.2.
No 3d Iso and no HI-Res passthrough using Minix 8H-Plus and/or Tronsmart MK908II[both with Finless Bob roms].

I hope this helped,

I confirm that. Both builds, 9/22 and 6/30, are having this issue.
Only those 3D movies that have dolbytruehd audio are problematic. Chapter skip or ff or rw causes issues. Audio is dropped and after couple of seconds video hangs.

Tested with Disney animation Brave 3D and Mad Max Fury Road 3D

Really? What kind of problems?
My D34010 is great and much better than my DN2820 which wasn't powerful enough. The 2830 is supposed to be faster than the 2820 so you should be fine.

Is possible to install Kodi 16.1 MVC support?

I think she was before for download, but can not find the link!

I would like to install Aeon MQ 7 skin and it is only to Kodi 16.

MVC build is only available in custom Kodi 17 build, see the 1st post for the download link

I have already installed the custom Kodi 17 MVC build. Before Kodi 17 build was no other build with kodi 16.1?.

I guess that this version is older, perhaps less stable, but would like to install it until it comes out version

I believe Raspberry Pi still support 3D MVC build in their official Build, But for Windows we have to wait for @afedchin build when there is update for Kodi 17

I've been playing around with various drivers and settings but unfortunately I can't get rid off DolbyTrueHD related chapter skip/ff/rw issue. I'm wondering what are my options here and as I see it they are either wait until Intel launches new drivers or mvc build is updated to suit my setup. Or then I go nuts and buy new hardware. Dear community, are there some other options I don't see? What would be your suggestion if I bought new setup? A friend of mine is selling I5-4440. I could get it cheap.

NUCs are suggested here I see but I'm not a fan of how NUCs look. I'd like to build htpc. In respect of 3D mvc playback, is it same if I build htpc compared if I buy NUC?

Should I buy haswell (e.g. I5-4440 from my friend) or skylake or wait until Kaby Lake is released? I don't need setup that is future proof (4k, HDR, 10-bit HEVC, (unless I get it very cheap)) since then I would have to buy new amp and TV also to enjoy those features. Too pricey for now. I'm not planning to update my TV for couple of years. Main point is to get flawless 1080p 3D and 2D experience. Only obstacle is DolbyTrueHD audio. Everything else seems to work like a charm. I'm very pleased with the picture quality. With oled TV, 3D movies are just stunning.

Any help's very much appreciated. And I haven't excluded NUCs totally. If there's a good reason, then I buy one despite of how they look.
