Android Zidoo X9S (X-series) 4K HDR / 3D / HD Audio / ZDMC (Kodi fork): Review & Use

Its not only @looun, I seen report these Android Audio limitations, but one of the WeTek Hub Audio users wondering why his Multichannel FLAC - PCM audio output seemed constrained when using Android 5.1.1

He switched to LibreELEC 7.1 / Kodi Jarvis and there were no Audio constraints then. Here is one of the posts:
http://wetekforums.com/v/index.php?p=/di...ment_40505

This is why I've made such a song and dance about Android Audio over in the HiMedia Q5/10 thread as I believe every Android media device has the same Multichannel 16bit PCM Audio output constraints.

DTS 96/24 is old format, DVD/DVD-A or CD-DTS(wav file with digital track)
There are lot DVD/CD music disc :
Queen - The Game (Dvd-Audio Dts 24-96 )
Enigma - Love Sensuality Devotion (CD-DTS Audio 24-48)
Guns N Roses - Greatest Hits (2004)[DTS 24-41 5.1]
....

this the only demo i found in these years
http://www.mediafire.com/file/y56kiwcsnx..._96_24.vob

DTS-X Gravity.mkv is the first DTS-HD 24 bits file i have seen.

there isn't DD 96/24 format.
i never see Dolby TrueHD 24 bits.

They're pretty rare, but here's a 96/24 TrueHD...

Blu-rayStats.com actually says "Dolby True HD 5.1 24 bits 192 kHz 14340 kbps" for above, but as you can see, MediaInfo is reporting 96kHz.

Disregard; see post #306 below...

Japanese audio track is 24/192kHz. What happened to the Japanese track in the sample. Is this the sample that I provided?

nVIDIA Shield does output 24-bit stereo PCM, just not via Kodi. I cannot verify 24-bit multichannel PCM output from Kodi on other OSes also.

I'm going to return mine, too many issues like audio pops all over the place and Deep Color not working with my Denon / LG, and 3D MVC MKVs not playing properly. So yeah, currently it's just not worth the $150 when I could just use my Raspberry Pi and I only lose out on Atmos / DTS:X.

As I have promised, we will solve the MVC MKVs issue in version v1.2.5, And of course you have the right to return

I do appreciate your updates and working on the issues, I just can't afford to wait for an unknown amount of time until they're fixed. And nothing on you, but I've been burned in the past waiting for updates that never come.
