[RELEASE] Flix2Kodi - Just another Netflix-Addon
Thank you for the changes to those 4 files from post 880. After editing the files on my LibreElec installation, the errors disappeared, I was able to log in, browse etc.

However, I'm now having a problem when the Chromium browser launches that didn't used to be an issue. I'm getting an error message caused by SSL the site certificate, saying that "Your connection is not private" or "NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID" or something like that.

When I type http://www.netflix.com into the address bar in the Chromium browser, I get the same error . Clicking on the https: icon with the error, it tells me that the page is insecure and there is a site certificate error. I can view the certificate. It looks valid, and it's good until November 2nd, 2018. But the error says:

NET::ERR_CERTIFICATE_TRANSPARENCY_REQUIRED

When I try it on my windows machine, using Chrome, it works fine. The certificate looks the same on the Windows version of Chrome as on the Kodi box, same serial number, same effective dates, same version etc.

I cleared cache and cookies on the Kodi box, also made sure date and time were correct. So why is Chromium on the LibreElec box choking on the SSL certificate, and how do I fix it?

Exact same error here. I was able to use the corrections from post 880 for awhile until this error. I now get an endless re-login loop.

So I've been having this same error and I haven't figured out what is causing the error yet but I was running with chromium when I had this issue and I recently downloaded Chrome instead and that seems to have fixed the issue. I'm not certain if the issue is actually fixed though because now I have a http 404 error that I haven't had time to look into yet.

Having the same issues as above. Wiped everything. Tried un5ki11ed version do not even get a login or pick profile. Tried logi85 from repo and login and profiles show but same error as above.
Kodi.log shows:
https://www.netflix.com/api/shakti/pathE...del=harris
When I pull netflix up with development tools open, it looks like this:
https://www.netflix.com/api/shakti/d72b0...del=harris
The text in the middle does not change when I logout and back in. I can add the text before /pathEvaluator but do not understand the code enough to figure out how to get rid of the text before ?materialize. Might this be causing the issue with retrieving the list of movies and TV shows?

also getting the same error as other post?

Anybody got a fix?

Hello folks,

It's been a while since i was looking for a KODI Addon to fully integrate Netflix on my Win10 KODI living room PC.
I've found this addon today, installed it and - guess what - not working.

Although I'm glad that there are still people out there who obviously try to get things working, i think of it as a Sisyphean task, as - obviously - Netflix does not have any intention of making things easy for people who like to use their services not "off the shelf", which renders - imho - any plugin as a doomed waste of time (sorry for my honesty).

However, i've found a quite easy way for me to start Netflix out from KODI by just using a full screen chrome Window (kiosk mode) through an custom Aeon Nox Main menu entry (i guess there are also other skins which support such custom menus).

Just activate one of the "Custom" Menus, and set it up like:
* Select "Default Action" in the Menu
* Select "user defined entry" at the bottom of the menu
* Enter the following line:
Code:
System.ExecWait(""C:\Program Files(x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" -kiosk -newwindow https://www.netflix.com")
(you might need to adopt the path to the chrome binary)

Of course this has some ugly disadvantages: you'll probably need a pointing device to handle the netflix UI and you'll not get AC3 sound, but this solution works for me for quite a while without any "api changing headaches". I agree that this solution will probably miserably fail any WAF tests.
I've also tried running the Windows Netflix App through a System.ExecWait call (over a .vbs batch file), however i've always had problems with window focus (either netflix not getting the focus after start, or Kodi not getting focus after exiting Netflix App), but this is not an issue with Chrome kiosk mode. Additionally, netflix never managed to get the App working so it can be controlled with cursor keys and "enter" (which would be perferct for my MCE remote), so the App didn't have much advantage for me.

hth,

yours,
Juergen

Not sure how I should interpret this error but it looks like the authentication is working but I can not watch anything. In Kodi it always shows Login / complete etc. and this its doing like 5 times and than I should check the error log.

I reset the Plugin, cleared cookies, etc. nothing helped. In Google Chome its working fine (OpenSuse).

Any help would be great !

Thanks

Broke for me either.

Running on Kodi; Started poking at / understanding source code a little bit. The 404 error from #909 is the same as what i'm seeing, I believe.
404 indicates the paths are not longer accurate. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTTP_404)

Some dynamic path evaluation/building was added in this changelist, but apparently they have changed again in some fashion (most likely not the endpoints, as I can still see the response form Netflix providing the endpoints- more likely some other bit of the path-building engine)
https://github.com/logi85/plugin.video.f...eb61321d63

I think the only way to fix for certain is to sniff some traffic from a netflix appliance and check what paths are being used by the API/App.

I'd expect it is https, so that would require a bunch of screwing around (transparent proxy/etc).. but not sure. May look more into it.

By the way, there is a change.org petition for Netflix to write an official Kodi plugin. not that it will gather any traction, i don't think:

Just a short update.
After doing some search, I found a nice add-on that can give another option: Remote Control Browser (http://addons.kodi.tv/show/plugin.progra...l.browser/).
It enables Chrome on full screen with remote control working (arrows in remote control can move the mouse cursor).
It is not ideal, but you can easily enter and browse Netflix website. No need to always update settings according to API.
