It's a map map where the *.fi files are being stored.Without this map search funtion is not being stored and doesn't cach. So when you start a stream for example it stops and starts to search again. When you startup Krypton again it will be emptied auto.

So I can just completely ignore it, no need to put it in options?

You can ignore it when the cleaner does not delete the map wehen you run the programm

Did you run manually check for addon updates in Kodi? Sometimes it won't show automatically unless you run check...

I did - context menu/info/update. I even tried re-downloading the repo zip.
