I have a 2500k cpu, a GX970 gpu, Kodi 17.4 installed on a Win10 pc.I have connected my pc via HDMI 2.0 cable on my Sony Android 4k TV.The settings on my nvidia panel are 2160p, 4.2.2 on 10bit.The HDR in enabled on the display panel of win10.

Now when I play a 4khdr video on potplayer it's working fine, no issues at all.
If I play the same 4khdr files on Kodi 17.4 the video playback is choppy, the video breaks, the sound is not synced with the video and HDR is not enabled.
So my question is simple.Does Kodi 17.4 on win10 supports FULLY hevc 4k with hdr videos?
If Kodi 17.4 support 4khdr what are the settings?

I repeat if I play 4k hdr on potplayer I don't have any issues at all.

Upgrade to v18 - won't work in 17.4

Can I have different versions of kodi installed on my pc? I'd like to test kodi 18 but to not lose my build on kodi 17.4
