Hello,

I have been using my MAG 254 box for about 6 months. I have noticed that the image stability is not perfect. I thought that this problem depends on the "bad" hardware of the box and so I bought an Android TV box. I have been running the STB Emulator + MX Player. I have "copied" the data of my MAG box into the emulator and everything is working expect of one problem: it is very laggy.

After searching for help I found Kodi. My provider gave me a m3u list. In Kodi everything is working perfectly, BUT: My provider can not give me an epg guide.

Then I found the Addon for Stalker Middleware. I though it would work like the STB Emulator from the Play Store. I "copied" everything I knew from my MAG box (MAC adress, portal, device ID, ...) but I just get the authentication fail.

Is there any chance to get the Stalker Client Middleware to work? I know (youtube) that there are many people using Stalker clones illegally. But I do not use an illegal provider. Is the Stalker Client Middleware Addon banned?

just to be clear, you using pvr add-on named 'Stalker Client', correct?

If everything else is the same (mac, device ids, etc.), then it may just be the portal url that's the issue.

unlike the mag box and the stb emulator, you need to enter the full path of the portal. most of the time providers just provide a shortened url that redirects to the actual portal url. stalker client doesn't do that redirect automatically

for example; look at these two urls
1 - http://example.com/
2 - http://example.com/stalker_portal/c/

url 1 redirects to url 2. so, you would need to use url 2.

you could try entering your portal url into a web browser and see if it redirects.

I am having the same problem. Authentication failure. I have the full path for the portal and it works on other stalker clients. The username and password fields are left blank as my portal provider does not require authentication by that means. they use a vMAC to authenticate

All work on Other client but not on Kodi

I have reset all setting and data.

For me it works on windows kodi but fails on arm version on firestick probably diff in platform is causing this
