Not really sure if this is the place but i will give it a shot.

Running Tvheadend as backend on Ubuntu server and Kodi 17.6 as frontend. Works great but with some stability glitches. So I have been running @Milhouse builds of Leia on RPi3 for some time (great job by the way!). However i have been having some timeshift issues with pvr.hts-addon. pause works. But when rewinding Live TV or rewinding after pause it just doesnt work in Leia. The time scale stays on the same second and just doesnt go forward or backward. Reverted to my old SDHC-card with 17.6. rewinding works great. Running kodi from Windows to the same Tvheadend server works great.

On Leia SD-card i have only added Tvheadend client pvr.hts addon. Nothing else. And since this addon is added through these builds i'm not sure to post this issue here or somewhere else. Or if its a known PVR/LiveTV issue in Kodi 18. or something for pvr.hts-team....Anyone here using any PVR/LiveTV addon where timeshift/rewinding works on Leia?

Possibly some build host dependency is missing - have a look at how Kodi is building, search for "DLIBDVDNAV_URL" and what path is it using? These are my DVD-related build settings:
Code:
...-DENABLE_DVDCSS=ON -DLIBDVDCSS_URL=/home/neil/projects/LibreELEC.tv/sources/libdvdcss/libdvdcss-2f12236.tar.gz -DLIBDVDNAV_URL=/home/neil/projects/LibreELEC.tv/sources/libdvdnav/libdvdnav-43b5f81.tar.gz -DLIBDVDREAD_URL=/home/neil/projects/LibreELEC.tv/sources/libdvdread/libdvdread-17d99db.tar.gz
Yours should be similar.
DVD playback always worked before, it stopped working just recently.
I don't see anything obviously suspicious. libdvdcss, libdvdnav and libdvdread are the correct versions.
I did another clean build and it still does not work. Debug log

@smp1 can you upload your build somewhere so that I can look at it?

Thanks - I can confirm DVD playback is not working with your build (but is with mine). You don't include the milhouse tar.gz file in your build tar file, which is a shame as it tell me what patches are in the build, I'm not sure why that isn't included.

Anyway, the next step would be to look at your complete build log, can you upload that somewhere?

Here's another build with included milhouse tar.gz file - LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.0-devel-20171222082226-%231222b-gc6298e2.tar
Build log
(2017-12-22, 17:41)smp1 Wrote: Build log

There should be a second log that includes all the compilation details for every package that is built. You should have this in your target/pi2 folder, it will be called LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.0-devel-20171222082226-#1222b-gc6298e2.log - can you upload this file (it will be quite large, between 80MB and 100MB for a full clean build).

Ah, that's not the log for a clean build, so it doesn't include any information about kodi (in this log you only rebuilt the kernel and related drivers, kodi hadn't changed since you last built so it wasn't rebuilt).

You should have a much bigger log in the target/pi2 folder if you have made a clean build recently. Alternatively, run "PROFILE=pi2 ./clean.sh --force kodi" then "PROFILE=pi2 ./autobuild.sh" and then upload the resulting log from the target/pi2 folder.

Yeah, I already deleted the files from a full clean build.
Current Kodi master does not build with yesterday's patches, so I don't know how to create a new log right now.

Yes, since last nights build (settings in www.nmacleod.com/public/oebuild/oebuild.tar.gz) there have been power management commits in Kodi that currently break newclock5 until it is rebased.

You can revert the kodi commit by adding:
Code:
=master, rpi -PR13229 fix: powermanagement & linux storageprovider build without dbus
in ipatches.dat.

I've updated ipatches.dat with this revert (download www.nmacleod.com/public/oebuild/oebuild.tar.gz), but haven't had time to test build it - fingers crossed for tonight as I'm about to head out for the evening.

Maybe building the libreelec-8.2 branch will confirm if this is an issue with my build scripts, or your build host. Run "./oepull.sh -c" to (reset your current master branch), then "git checkout libreelec-8.2" in your LE repo, followed by "git pull", then use the normal LibreELEC build method not my build method, ie. "PROJECT=RPi2 ARCH=arm make release &>./build.log".

New build - LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.0-devel-20171222202521-%231222c-gc6298e2.tar
Log - LibreELEC-RPi2.arm-9.0-devel-20171222202521-%231222c-gc6298e2.log

Not sure if this is relevant to the issue but there are a crap load of warnings like this one:

hi, Milhouse.
Your work is great, but.
i didn't get any result by "cat /proc/vmstat | grep pgpg"
is it my fault or in the system?

LiveTV get Channels from TVHeadend Server and show no Channel Number anymore.
