Has anybody else noticed network issues since the recent large library update?

Network seems to come up very late. For instance, I can ssh to my Kodi box earliest 10 secs after Kodi GUI is up. System.d driven nfs mount on box startup does not work ... (But it does after the network is finally up)

Seems "somebody" forgets to wait on the network on startup. Or is it just that for some reason my network now needs much more time to come up and a "wait for network" timeout hits me badly? I see the "waiting for network" prompt for a couple of seconds during box startup, though...

Using no Wi-Fi, it's a 1gb cable connection if that matters.

EDIT: this is on x86_64, btw. I posted to the wrong thread, sorry.

Which build is that, exactly?

I moved it. Smile

i'm seeing artifacts, black spots. primarily in light regions. happens in 0210 and 0209.
i use sw video decoding with deinterlacing and tvheadend.
did anyone notice this?

b.t.w. using calibrated plasma, menus are not too dark. full rgb. tv set to expanded color range.
I have a very old Nvidia ION device (Intel Atom 330). My home setup is centralized through MySQL.

Recently, LibreElec initializes but KODI only boots to a black screen. I've tried all eligible builds and the last one that works is #204.

Yes, I have the same artifacts since 0206. Version 0205 is working normally.

Can't help without a log (a crash log in this case).

Ok, I'll go back to a build that doesn't work and secure a log. It doesn't crash as such, though, since I can still access the system via SSH.
Damn it, I don't understand why I am the only one with this problem.
I made a brand new installation on an USB stick with latest release in here.

May it be that something got screwed threw flashing lspcon 1.66 or 1.72?!

My picture is too dark, TrueHD/Atmos works but DTS-HD has funny sounds (knistern in german)
I tested millions of cabels, I tested direct connections between TV and player.

Is there any way to get the original lspcon firmware? I dont know why, but I know it has effects to the DVI-Port behavior (had aspect ratio error on DVI after installation of lspcon 1.72, had to flash bacl to 1.66).
I cant make alpha testing with the basics not working. It might be I am the only one, so something on my board seams to be screwed.

It sounds like Kodi is crashing - SSH still works because it has nothing to do with Kodi. Smile

In theory "safe mode" should kick in after about 5 consecutive crashes. If that isn't happening then maybe Kodi is freezing rather than crashing... uploading kodi.log while booted into #0205 might reveal something if it's not a crash, so please install #0205, repeat the "black screen" then ssh into the machine and run the following commands:
Code:
cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi.log | pastebinit
cat /storage/.kodi/temp/kodi_crash.log | pastebinit
then paste the URLs.

Sound interruption during playback here times my logfile

Please help
My hardware:
- Denon AVR 2113
- Samsung UE55H6470 LED TV
- Zotac with ZBOX-CI547NANO (LibreELEC-Generic.x86_64-9.0-Milhouse-20180213230411)

Tested so far:
- Different movies with different formats
- Denon Avr with other devices (No mistake what the sound dropouts goes on) Sound output without pt set!

The sound interruptions always happen individually never at the same time.
During the misfires the picture continues to run normally only the sound sets for about 1-2 sec. And the mostly 3 times backrestander.
After that everything continues as if nothing had happened.

Sorry for my bad mistake I use a translator.

I hope someone can help me with my log

Thank youLog

Hey there,

I`ve switched my AVR yesterday from a Denon X2300w to a X3400H and I`m getting a strange behavior on the soundside with Libreelec on my NUC6CAYH. The Problem is that I only get Sound from the first Video I am playing. With the second Video i`m only getting silence. Two ways of geting Audio back working (at least for one more Video) is by rebooting Libreelec or by switching the HDMI-source on the avr to another an back to libreelec. With the x2300w everything worked fine, no Problems in this direction. The only Thing that changed was the AVR. I`ve doublechecked the config of the avr, of the audiosection of libreelec and I even done a factoryreset on the avr.

My question is know: Is it a Problem of the AVR? I can`t believe that denon changed so much in the System that such wierd Things happen.

At the link you can see the debug-log: Debug-Log

Thanks for your help!

Same here starting with #0206.
It's usually in areas with high reds, greens or blues as if the colorrange got cut.

Might a screenshot help to explain it better? If so, is there a way to make screenshots on LE or do I have to take a photo with my phone?

Press the "Print Scrn" button on a keyboard if you have one connected.

Or in ssh, use texturecache.py screenshot (assuming you've enabled Services > Control > Allow remote control from applications on this/other system).
