Release Netflix Add-on [input-stream]

(2018-05-20, 09:11)knives of ice Wrote: so no matter what you set the minimum bits to, even the max 4k value if you have manual selected it will always start with the lowest bit rate.  if you choose auto it will not start at the max bit rate either no matter what i try.  i really hope this bug gets fixed.
 This method is for auto stream selection. Manual always starts with lowest bitrate - dunno if it's a bug or just the way it works.
This works for up to 1080p, not sure why doesn't work for 4K streams - maybe it has to do that they're hevc profiles and the setting won't apply for them.
@peak3d will have the answers.
Just a note, the above affects youtube as well (if dash enabled) and any other add-on that utilizes inputstream.adaptive.

I can not get this to work on my Nvidia shield, I have installed Kodi 18 and it installs then immediately says error, I have no idea what's going on. I even tried a fresh install but to no avail, can someone help me please....

 In my experience it's ok if pycryptodome is missing. You need to make sure to input your ESN or else the shield won't work. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyqSdYBo1mg starting at the 10 minute mark or so.

 I'm not dev and know very little. Someone else might know better than me, but I noticed " Widevine device model mismatch" in your log along with "[Netflix] Error getting license"

Did you input an Netflix ESN for Android on a different device? It doesn't look like it, but perhaps it's possible the ESN isn't exactly correct. Did you try double checking?

I checked the ESN a bunch of times (lost track of how many and almost lost my mind looking at it), but when I get home I'll check one more time. Don't know if it matters that it's on an Amazon Fire TV 2015. I have 2 of them and I can't get it to work on either. Got it to work perfectly on MiBox and my Motox4.

 Wait. Did you use your motox ESN on your AFTV? I could definitely see that being a problem.
