The scraper uses REGEX so you could open it in a text file and edit it yourself.

It won't get changed though, as that would effect everyone else. As a rule the filename must be Artist - Title.ext (exactly as on TADB)

Love this scraper, I have spent alot of time naming all the files to fit the requirements.
However on problem keeps popping up, song names ending in a ? mark are not scraped eg most of shania twain stuff.
I can't put a ? as windows won't allow.
any suggestions?

You are right it was late, and there seem to have been a few errors in the names themselves. the one above still does not scrape
But while we are talking
I am having a major problem with the & and "and" and ft. ft feat. feat see below.
I have been going to Utube to try and correct all my bad names punctuation etal but even then some don't get picked up is there a way to report unscraped videos so the experts among us can help out.
eg.
Shania Twain - Party For Two ft. Mark McGrath
Shania Twain - Party For Two ft. Billy Currington
Taylor Swift – We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together?

There is more but I can not seem to figure out the dual artist thing.

TheAudioDB site has that track and I can confirm the API call works as well.

Essentially this means there is a problem with the Kodi side of things. Most likely the Regex in the scraper code if it doesn't match the song.

Regarding the other songs, make sure you name the songs exactly the same as the song on TheAudioDB, you can use its search feature to find them.

This is what the scraper matches against, nothing else.

Does the scraper run from the online code or the code on your KODI install disk?

I've made some changes to my local copy to ignore content in square brackets but it's not working and the only reason I can think of is that the code I've changed is not being executed.

You can check by looking at the api call in the kodi log file, it should work in any web browser.

Issues with Unicode \u2019 and the scraper. The one that is failing is:

'E.M.D. - There’s a Place for Us' - the apostrophe is actually unicode 2019 (and the %e%80%99 is also unicode 2019

The track we want the scrapper to bring back is:

a) the audiodb does not seem to like the %e%80%99
b) can the scrapper the forced/tricked into using the NFO file with the working URI
c) not sure how to get theaudiodb to respond with the correct response on these unicode quotes
