f you don't want someone to steal your account either delete the link from the post with the Edit button or remove it from paste.kodi.tv.
If you can't then ask @DarrenHill to kindly do it for you.

Do not change it in your m3u file.
It looks like that is what you have done.

Thank you, but I can’t also send messages to the administrator. Can you please do it for me.
The last lines are the end of the ffmpeg log file of version 0.84

Try recording something on a desktop machine with ffmpeg version 4.
It might be your version 3 isn't new enough for your streams.

Quote:You should be able to write to anywhere that Kodi has write permissions.
Use the Backspace or Back key to back out of the temp folder and you should get to the top of the Kodi folders tree.

Thank you very much. I chose an smb folder now. But first i tried a local folder. There was no problem to record a movie.
With the smb folder i can make a recording job. After the time i find a new subfolder with the name of the movie on the smb folder. So kodi can write there. But there is no movie file in it. Which entry is wrong in the settings?

Thank you Elluminatus

Everything should be on the defaults except:
Kodi Recordings Folder = your smb share
ffmpeg exe = your ffmpeg location

Did you make a new recording after you changed the folder location?
Does it still reliably record to the default temp folder?

I set up a windows machine and everything works, any idea where to find a compiled version 4 of ffmpeg ?
Thank you again.

Yes I made a new recording. When I look directly on the server in the folder, dann there is a json file, but I cannot see this file under recordings, there I only can see the folder of the serie.

 Try 0.0.85.
It was using the wrong recording path. The ffmpeg recording path if you turn off the pipe setting.
@maiers12 see if this fixes your problem too.

I'm going to blame our new kittens for sitting on my keyboard all the time.

 Good.
We've got two new young kittens in our house and they have decided that the best place to sleep is on my desk, preferably on my keyboard, so I can tickle their tummies.

I don't know exactly but this is my usual advice for Android. It might help.

Get "Droid Hardware Info" from the Play Store.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...info&hl=en
Look for the CPU Architecure and Instruction Set on this page of the app.
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/t7UNvC...w1920-h946
Download the Khang ffmpeg release that matches best.
https://github.com/Khang-NT/ffmpeg-binar...d/releases

You can also see hardware info at the top of the kodi.log file.
