Try restoring your shield tv

I have been facing the same issue: https://github.com/cguZZman/plugin.googl.../issues/67

The workaround for me: install Kodi 18.0.

I have Kodi 18.1

I was not able to make it work on Kodi 18.1 in my Shield properly. Not only me, but others here are having the exact same problem. My guess there is some kind of incompatibility between the libraries been used by this plugin and Kodi 18.1. Hoping the developer can find what that problem is. Wink

Ah, OK, only in Kodi 18.0. Then I will try to install it. I guess the .Kodi configuration folder can be put back in Kodi 18.0, for not reinstalling everything. Kodi 18.2 RC has left the same thing they have arranged there

I just installed 18.0 and I'm still not getting information on the movies that I have on my local drive. (Gdrive too)
instead I just see the name of the movie and a screenshot of the movie.  Is this a plugin issue or is it kodi?

I'd like to see a DVD cover of the movie and rating....  like older versions of kodi.  Is this still possible?
thx

What am I doing wrong?

You have to be sure you are login (https://drive-login.herokuapp.com/authorize) in the same network as your Kodi is.

Otherwise, it won't work.

I definitely am. It's even on the same computer.
I installed the Windows version, installed the GDrive Add-On from within KODI, selected "login to account", went to the URL (https://drive-login.herokuapp.com) in Firefox and Chrome, entered the CODE it's showing me in KODI and I always get the error message.
And KODI is definitely not blocked by a firewall as it can play videos with the YouTube Add-On.
Any other ideas? Google Drive was the main reason to use KODI for me. I'm paying for an unlimited drive and want to access my library there.

You can be on the same network, however the public IP that is used to access the site from should be the same on both Kodi and the other device where you are doing the authentication. Are you using a VPN on your Windows device or through Kodi?

Hello @gilsonsjc , you have been able to report the bug to Team Kodi?

Hi - not yet - I am still struggling trying to load the content directly from the https url without using the add-on. Follow up here: https://github.com/cguZZman/plugin.googl.../issues/67

Yes I saw it. I hope you can do it, because I do not have the knowledge to do it. Anyway, if I can help you in any way, let me know

I see this addon says unlimited accounts. How does that impact each device as far as the streaming and wont this potentially create api bans on that one account ?

Hello guys. I wanna try to add a specific drive folder as a video source. How can I do it? Thanks

Hi @cguZZMan  Once again you have done great work creating this addon and even greater work in maintaining this addon.

I stumbled upon a new program Tiny Media Manager which allows to create nfo files (Kodi-compatible) on Windows. When I placed this nfo file (generated using this program) in the same folder where the strm file for that particular movie was created - Kodi showed up all the metadata flags (supported by many skins now).

I was wondering if your Google drive addon can export the .nfo files along with the strm files as well? If it already does, how can I activate that? If not, do you plan on incorporating or considering to import .nfo files along with strm file generation?

Thanks!

The program says that Your code is invalid. Make sure you entered the code displayed in Kodi and you're in the same network as your kodi device.

The code is Ok. What is wrong?

I experienced a different issue. successfully installed this add-on but Kodi wont play any single file.
tried differently with Bubble UPNP + VLC on shield and it worked [ for HD file, a lot of buffer on 4k file].
