PseudoTV Overwrites my Channels ? How do I stop this?
#1
How do I stop PSeudoTV live from overwriting my channels I have generated?     I have finally generated all my channels exactly the way I would like them.  They are saved in the cache folder under channel_1.m3u etc.

However, after a few days when I re-enter PseudoTV Live the m3u files get overwritten with new m3u  files that contain less content.  For instance, if I have a single tv show dedicated channel that plays all episodes in order the m3u file gets re-generated with random episodes and ignores the channel rules after a few days.

Luckily I backed up the fully generated files but they continue to get overwritten randomly.  I have selected 24/7 mode and also monthly channel resets and nothing seems to work

Does anyone know what settings or where to place my files so they do not get overwritten by Pseudotv randomly?

Kodi 18.1
Windows
PseudoTV live .08f
All content is local and no additional addons are installed

Thanks

Not sure if it’s the same in PseudoTV Live version but in the original version:
Settings> Force channel reset on next start: Off
Time between channel resets: Never

I suffered from the same issue. I was never able to fix it although I don’t think I ever used the latest version. I currently run the original PseudoTV where i’ve had better luck.

It only supports local content though so keep that in mind.

Thanks for the link, someone provided that to me as well, that version definitely works wonders and doesn't create the same issues as I stated above (even with Force Channel Reset OFF)

Thanks again

I thought PseudoTV Live was the original. How many versions are there?

Thanks

Is this a version one that is still updated regularly / semi-regularly? Would be nice to have a stable version for v18.

I've been using this version regularly since my last post on the topic and it has worked flawlessly in v18
