Guys, sorry...
Just a quick drop by to say i totally have no time to work on this addon anymore..
It could change in the future but nothing's less sure.
I recommend someone to fork it and keep up the updates.

Does this not work with latest Leia or do i need to change some settings in kodi and not the addon?
Maybe embedded mkv is not supported?

I also modified the add-on a bit to make it work for my use case. I kept the original add on as is but tried to tweak the forced subtitle management. I also made some changes to enable it disable the subtitles according to the conditional preferences instead of just setting the right language.

It works fine for me. Maybe it will for you.

Does this or the unofficial ones support subtitles in.mkv?
Sometimes it does not turn on English subs from mkv automatically.

Hi @snyft,

The one that i modified definitely works with internal subtitles and i've tested it with plenty of mkvs. If you're having trouble, turn on debug mode and look at the log after trying a movie. You can search for LPM: in the log. It should show you exactly what it's finding.

Hey,
just tried out the second beta of matrix today and saw that this add-on is not supported.
Is there any chance somebody will modify this to work in matrix?
Would really love to be able to continue to use this add-on.

I did do a matrix fix for this addon and it can be obtained from my github skin repo 11.0.0 available here: repo Aeon MQ5 mod You don't need to install the skin, just the repo (install from repo --> services) and there are several orphaned addons that I updated for Matrix (python 3). Note that I don't use the addon and couldn't really test its functions; just that it will install and run. But if you do give it a try and have problems I will take a look (but you will have to give me details on what it doesn't do).

Thanks, no error messages in Kodi now, I do have some mixed results though.
I set it up as follow:
Primary: Swedish
Secondary(Which I can't see it says in the configure UI) : English
I get the result that sometimes it does not choose Swedish any idea why this could be?
Sometimes it chooses English if there is Swedish and English other times it chooses nothing.

Some examples follow: Greyhound (no subtitle selected when Swedish and English present) and 10 Cloverfield Lane (English selected when Swedish available)

Hello. I used the work of Scott967 and merged it with my version of the addon to release an updated version that seems to work good (for me) on Kodi 19.
