Btw. do you have this delay everywhere? Youtube app and others as well?
Not tested other applications. kodi only so far

Great news for people who still own a 2015 or 2017 shield. I turned mine on today and noticed that Disney+ now has Atmos support.

Is possible to get Dolby Atmos audio from:

- Netflix App?
- Prime Video App?
- Disney+ App (yes, Tatts4Life docet)

Thanks

How exactly?

My Netflix doesn't do Atmos for sure.
My Prime Video doesn't even do 4K, let alone Atmos.
Disney+ I don't have, so couldn't comment on that.

Yup same here, but it's unclear if it's netflix/prime(app)'s fault or nvidia. If anything I suspect it's netflix/prime themselves - could be some licensing issue?
As Kodi has shown, it works just fine from a technical point of view.
System: Kodi on NVidia Shield 2015
Video: Panasonic AE3000 Projector / Samsung 46" LCD
Audio: Quad 2912 on Nord DM500Up with Marantz 7010 receiver.

My Netflix and Prime apps both do Atmos where available and it's now reported that it's working on the Disney+ app as well.

As to how, you just need an Atmos setup.

Could you post the version of your Android TV OS and Netflix/Prime apps?
I got a case running at Nvidia for this and would love to know which you have.

Thanks in advance!
